Yeah, I don't think the clothing is 'dirty' enough. Yeah the inmates are wearing orange jumpsuits, but they aren't brand new like DCD paints them. They need to be filthy. And Mr. Z really does need something to bring out those scars.

If they end up being sold like this I will definitely have a go at repainting them myself. I just hope DCD do a better job themselves before they're released so I don't have to!

This makes me sad :slap

It's the paint that's throwing these things off. Well, series 2 more so than series 1. Series 1 look perfect paintwise, especially bats and Joker.

Looking at the ivy comparison above, the hair is throwing it off somewhat. Not really a figure i'll consider buying anyway so I guess i'm lucky.

Wave 2 looks like a real let-down so far. DCD don't offer decent articulation, so they're supposed to offer greatly detailed sculpts and paint.

I'll have to see these in person before pulling the trigger I think.

What's with her "Bride of Frankenstein" hair? :lol\

Also, it looks like play-doh. :monkey5

Hopefully theyll change ivys hair before the release date, Which gives them plenty of time.

Zsasz has always been a personal favorite of mine, so I can't wait to finally get my hands on his figure. Would have preferred it to be based off his comic appearance then the video game, but I'll take it either way.

Hoping that Croc gets made and turns out as well.

So CTR is reporting DCD will have a Battle Damaged Batman as a SDCC exclusive this year. Limited to 4,000! Hopefully getting one will be easier than the Rainbow Hals last year! :google

I seriously hope we don't have that fiasco again. I think I've said this before but in all my years of attending con, that experience had to of been one of the most aggravating and frustrating experiences there ever.

That said, this is one of only a handful of exclusives that I'm going after. Wish me luck...I'm going to need it :lol

You and me both!

And I'm still kicking myself over those Hals. I could have gotten a blue one and an orange and red one! I thought it would just be easier to grab them all as a set later instead of picking up those three at the time :banghead

At least there are a 1,000 MORE than even the GL Hal last year. I remember be able to just walk right up and get the Arkham straight Jacket Joker at the booth that year. What happened to those times? :(

I had to literally stop a fist fight from breaking out while in line for the stupid raffle last year. While standing in line a guy with 2-3 of every color released thus far at that point started walking up and down the line hawking them for 100$ a pop. Needless to say words were exchanged between the seller and a guy standing next to me and next this you know these two fanboys were ready to throw down. I really don't want to see that again this year. Con should be a fun experience and although I understand that these items are limited, it should never get to the point where two grown men are ready to take out their frustrations physically.

I really think SDCC should FORCE the booths to adopt a system like Sideshow does for their exclusives. Mattel and Hasbro's booths are total nightmares and always causing problems. Both of them have websites and should be able pull off a pre-order system like Sideshow. Even if it was in addition to the regular lines. Have a seperate 'express' line for those who have already bought and paid for their items and just need to pick them up.

But I've noticed the lines for exclusives tends to get worse and worse every year. :(

You'd think that fans would look out for one another, and not try to take advantage of each other like that.

I had a similar experience during the TDK virals. SWAG was, of course, quite limited, and some jerkoffs wanted to horde as much as they could. When they were passing out the "CFB" shirts, one guy took three of them - and when asked later by others, who didn't get ANY, he refused to hand any of his extras over. Then he put one on a pole and waved it around like a flag in peoples faces, adding insult to injury.

I almost grabbed it off the pole and made a run for it. My sense of decency stopped me, even though he obviously had none...looking back, I wish I had done it.

Gahhhh!! :gah: this is VERY frustrating news for me since I live in the UK!! Anyone fancy picking one up for me and shipping it to England?

Just collected all of the pictures from the con so far of these....

They're looking really nice in these new photos, even Bats looks much better than the DcDirect promo pics we got. But Harley and Scarecrow definitely stand out as the two nicest sculpts/paintjobs in the whole set.
