I really enjoyed catwoman too. Maybe because my expectations weren't very high. A lot of people disliked it, but I finally read issue #1 the other day, then issue #2 yesterday and really enjoyed it. I think it could have done without the sex scene though. Still an interesting read.

BTW, does anyone use the ComiXology iPhone App "Pull List"? It's pretty damn cool and useful. Free, too. Highly recommend if you're an iPhone user who goes to the LCS every Wednesday.

One of my favorite apps on my phone. Also, with the screen cap feature on iPhone, you get some really great high-res comic covers for backgrounds :lecture

it was very necessary.... been waiting to see batman and catwoman do the nasty for the longest time.. haha

I wonder how DC's sales are doing. My LCS is already having discount sales on some #1's and #2's.

My pull list is hovering around 3 or 4 from The New 52. I can definitely say I got caught up in some of the excitement that's now passing. A few of the new books are mind blowing good though.

read catwoman no2 and its not as horrible as some have said, the sex was meh for me, but the ending reminded me of whats being done with detective comics

I'm quite enjoying catwoman. Could do without the sex scene but still I thought the overall issues were pretty good. Just read batman #2, really liking this one. I had preferred detective comics to batman so far but I really enjoyed batman #2.
Just waiting on issue #2 of superman, teen titans and all star western.

I read my books from this week, I really like Teen Titans.

Voodoo #2 was decent.

I have to cut back some though, as I am spending 100$ or more on comics again each month. Boy, at $2.99 and $3.99 cover prices do they add up quick.

Might just limit myself to the Batman titles, along with Batgirl, Teen Titans, and a couple others.

Doesn't help that I have been buying some Marvel books again now too! :)

Just read Teen Titans #2. I'm really enjoying it so far. Just curious, has anyone been reading I, Vampire? If so what's it like? Just read the little interview in the back of Teen Titans and it sounded interesting.

Also read Superman #2, enjoyed it a lot more than issue #1. I was a bit disappointed originally with the Superman title, much preferring Action Comics. While i still prefer Action so far, i'm liking Superman more than i initially did. Hope it keeps picking up.

Now onto All Star Western. :yess: Loving this so far.

Just put down Batman 2, Animal Man 3, and Swamp Thing 3. All awesome.

I can't explain how Animal Man's art works for me. It just does. It reminds me of reading some old Hellblazer.

Just finished Detective Comics # 3 - another excellent read! Really loving this title so far, definitely the best of all the Bat-books at the moment.
Also just finished reading Batman: Noel.
Lee Bermejo is seriously the best damn artist to ever draw Batman comics ever!! The cityscapes are stunning and the character designs and page layouts are perfect.
The story was enjoyable too, though sometimes confusing on a first read, but lots of great moments.
I'm not a Superman fan, so I'd have preferred the book without him, but I can accept him considering how fitting his appearance is to the story.
Overall I'd give Noel a 9/10.

I'm still stunned at how good Animal Man is. Three issues into the re-launch and this title alone might make the whole New 52 stunt worth it, IMHO. Lemire is channeling 80s-era Alan Moore here.

Detective & Swamp Thing were also solid this week again. I also picked up Action Comics #3. Not sure how I feel about that one, because I have no idea what Morrison is up to. Still gonna give it a couple more issues.

That's it for DC this week. I already dropped Batwing and the others.

Glad to hear Noel is good. Was really looking forward to that one and didn't realise it was out yet. Will have ti pick it up. I agree, bermejo is fantastic at drawing batman. Easily one if my favourite artists foe the character. Can't wait to check it out. Still waiting for issue #3 if detective, action and swamp thing to arrive. But glad to hear they're still strong issues.
Out of interest sfa, mind if i ask where you get your comics from? Do you buy from a store or get them online?

^ Yeah the art is amazing. I love how Bermejo draws the Batsuit and cityscapes especially.
It does actualy vary where I get my comics from, more often I get them from a comic shop in Liverpool city centre. It's a big shop and they almost always have the issues in that I want, and if not there's a back-up comic shop about 5 mins walk away from them.
If I can't make it into town though I will get them online off eBay if my favourite sellers have them in stock - I only use the sellers that sell them for the same price as my LCS (and free postage) such as one seller called 'a-place-in-space'.

Ahh, yeah I use a place in space a lot. I've gotten all my new 52 comics from them. Just they dont get delivered till about a week after release date. Wasn't sure if there was a place to pre-order and get them a bit closer to the release date, as I don't really have any comic shops nearby. Oh well, I'll stick with a place in space
Yeah, I love the way bermejo draws the batsuit. I loved deathblow/batman after the fire, because his art was awesome. Really love the "texture" and everything with the suit. Definitely one of my top favourite designs for the suit.
