Is this Deadpool film in the same universe as X Men? If it's an alternate reality or universe, maybe Wolverine can show up wearing his classic costume

It's the same universe. Only X-Men cameo known so far is Colossus.

I forgot all about Colossus. I hope he has an actual role and not just a cameo. Fox is reportedly casting a Psylocke right now too... would be awesome and a surprising change if it's for Deadpool and not for Apocalypse. Maybe they will do a modern X-force movie with Deadpool as a sequel?

It's amazing to me that, with this costume, a Hot Toys movie figure would actually be closer to being comic accurate than a Sideshow comic-based figure. It's just so perfect. They did an incredible job.

Costume looks pretty good, a bit cosplay-y for my taste but comic accurate nonetheless.

I wish they didn't go with CGI eyes, Wade has white/yellowish eyes with no pupil anyway, they could've figured something up.

I also wish they would've gone with the Marvel NOW look, much more practical looking and looks better.

No complaints on execution though, just preference, I'm just happy we're getting a proper Deadpool movie with no shortcuts

That Marvel Now design definitely looks better, that would have looked great in live action. I like the CG eyes though, and I think they are definitely needed if he's actually going to be wearing his mask for a majority of the film.
