You're saying Original Liefeld design is tasteful and better?
I'm saying that making the suit half-black, adding metalic clips, huge plated boots and bracers isn't making any sense anyway, but destroys iconic feel of the character.

He's a mercenary, of course he needs practical ****
Weapons and accessories is another thing completely. Now in his costume - no, he doesn't.

practical doesn't go up Singer's ass, leather does.
DotFP showed that now Singer's about overdesigned "practical" crap.

Making any sense? They're boots, what sense do you need to make of them? :lol

It doesn't destroy anything, he's wearing red, black, ninja tip, stupid amount of pouches, twin katanas, that is Deadpool, it's just a better looking design, seriously you're not making any sense, if anything's tasteless that's the original design.

Except none of that was practical.

This is why we can't have nice things. A studio makes a costume that's one of the most comic accurate depictions ever, and people argue because it's not the comic accurate design they'd have chosen. You can all thank yourselves when the Bryan Singer-produced Deadpool reboot of 2045 features the titular anti-hero in a gimp suit with red highlights. :lecture :lol

Yeah that was a cheap shot, I'm sorry, would you forgive me Riddick? Let's all just hug and rejoice we're getting an awesome DP movie.

There, comment deleted.

Costume looks pretty good, a bit cosplay-y for my taste but comic accurate nonetheless.

I wish they didn't go with CGI eyes, Wade has white/yellowish eyes with no pupil anyway, they could've figured something up.

No complaints on execution though, just preference, I'm just happy we're getting a proper Deadpool movie with no shortcuts :yess:

:exactly: same here

I'm glad they are using CGI eyes :monkey3 the mask is like part of his skin, can't recreate that in the real world

No one is arguing about the Movie costume doe, everyone likes it.

I've read some people online saying it's 'too faithful' :lol

I'm surprised they did that. Takes balls to do something that could fall flat for the GA. Probably why Spidey hasn't had moving eyes on film. Wonder if after seeing this Marvel will try to implement it for their version of the character

Costume looks fantastic! And this reveal photo is hilarious.

I don't mind the CGI eyes. Considering how we see masks "move" in comics, this will be quite similar to that and actually is subtlety comic-accurate. Especially considering how animated and spastic Deadpool is as a character. Hopefully they address it in the movie with some pun in which Deadpool responds with a fourth wall comment.
