You should whine more about things that are actually happening, instead of trying to create even more things to be outraged about. So far this is moving along just fine. Put the crystal ball away and just be happy it's being made.

That video was fantastic. The suit looks different than the pic we got, though. It still looks amazing, but I don't think the texture was as leathery in the fireplace photo.

.....Oh, dear God. It's just getting ridiculous now.
Anyway, the point was made that an R rated CBM won't do well commercially based on the failure of some others. My point was that the ones that failed did so because they were poorly produced versions, not because of the rating.
Anyone care to go down that path, rather than the time-worn barroom grandstanding about how everything is PC, especially when it doesn't seem that's part of this particular movie and its production?

unless the budget is very small, R rated movies are bad for business. studios know this which is why you see crap like alien vs predator or Live Free or Die Hard being made pg 13....

300 did great and managed a sequel, so did Kick Ass. Dredd failed because of poor marketing. The trailers were horrible.

Didn't see it, but wasn't the consensus that it was a bad movie? It flopped because of poor reviews. Stuff like Watchmen, V for Vendetta or Sin City isn't exactly appealing to wide audience. From the previews Deadpool already looks like a fun movie.

Nah, they're far from dead, in fact, sales have been pretty steady and rising since half a decade ago, but they need to stop trying to turn everything into Ms. Marvel, DC is fine for the most part, until that cover topic(but thanks to that artists are now starting to speak up against those "feminist" whims), but Marvel is completely filled with tumblr stuff, memes, empty dumb jokes, it's ok for some series and characters, not for every single one.
