Seriously! I still facepalm at the parents that claimed nobody warned them Deadpool 1 wasn’t appropriate for children What do think the ratings are for?!? If I was a theater owner I would have refused refunds for oblivious idiots. Clearly something isn’t working as basically people see the ratings system as R and G. Either it’s R and the kids shouldn’t go or it’s anything else and automatically kid friendly despite a PG-13 label. Some PG-13 films really push that rating and almost are R rated but people would still take their 8 year olds to them. I think the ratings board needs to realize people are too stupid these days to have “parental guidance.” I think most parents these days still need parental guidance of their own.

Can’t wait to see the comparisons in the sales of opening weekend between this and the original. I’m picturing three times more, possibly another record breaking opening .

Because let’s face it the first was more of a “ let’s go see the DP movie to see how they did it “ but now it’s more like a “ we want to see this “ situation.

I don’t expect this to break IW sales because this will lose the percentage of family viewers . And I can only see little kids sneaking in to watch this sadly

First reactions are out with a lot of ‘better than the first’ comments. Apparently some surprise cameos (maybe Hugh jackman made it after all?), and really pushing the R rating with ‘super violence.’

Of course first reactions can be highly misleading but with a simpler film like this I’d give them more weight.

The formula is pretty simple so it doesn’t surprise me . I’m sure the first was definitely an experiment with inserting the language, violence and extreme adult content for a comic book themed movie to see how the audience reacted which now made it a memorable cult classic that the fans loved .

So now they could focus more in developing the characters and the plot and add more to what made the first work.

Honestly I don’t want MCU to takeover DP. I think it won’t be the same

The original had an opening weekend (domestic) of approximately $132.4 million. So ... you expect this one to gross $397.2 million and absolutely obliterate Infinity War's record!?!
