Saw deadpool 2 last night and thought the first was funnier. He talked a lot more here and made a lot of jokes that I mostly did not find funny. They were cute in a sitcom sort of way but not laugh at loud funny. The car chase in the middle was better than the end action scene. Deadpool was always an unpredictable character in the comics that Reynolds has managed to tame in the films. The cgi fight in the end needed more work to seem believable. The end credits scene was hilarious though. Give it 6.5 maybe 7 out of 10.

Saw this last night and enjoyed it. Liked the 1st one a bit better. Cable's origin is murky and not comic accurate. I do wish Cable had more screen time and was fleshed out a bit more but Brolin did a very good job with the role. Besides the difference in height, they nailed all the other aspects of Cable.

I liked the movie. I really the scene with the electrical cable. Overall first was better for story but I really liked Cable and Domino. Thought Shatterstar's big scene was hilarious.

Can't believe the guy ask for an ID for this movie. A 47+ old guy shouldn't be ask for such a thing but at least one can look younger than he really is? If there is such a thing. Anyway, this is a good movie. A little too much on the post credit scene but at least it's not technically part of the movie. Cable is awesome and that teenage mega....is even hotter than before. Too bad she's a **SPOILER** character. Domino is fine. Peep complains too much.

Yeah cgi looks bad and Fox has no excuse the first DP made a huge profit.

But don’t even get me started on Disney though talk about a cheap *** company making billions yet putting out that 2000 era X-Men 1 cgi in BP.

I have not been to the movies since Infinity War.. Waiting to see Deadpool after the crowds get smaller... Crowds at the first showing really ruined the already average movie for me.

Every geek and nerd there was trying to prove that they were the biggest Deadpool fans by laughing as hard as they could at every single Joke.. Every single one.. As hard as they could... Grrrrrrr.

But I have been avoiding spoilers.. Posting mostly in the Statue sections

While DP2 was clearly a win it’s also not a perfect homerun that Ryan/Fox were looking for.

Right now it’s a 125 million opening so it still might adjust to beat DP1 132 million opening.

But DP2 is the widest theater release ever for an R rated movie and also in Fox studios history!

DP1 was on 3,558 and DP2 was on 4,349.

Not the trajectory they were hoping for especially if it doesn’t surpass DP1 come monday although I think it will just by a hair.

They initially were thinking a 150-170 opening, nope lol

Fox thinking they were MCU for a second there that’s funnier than the movie.
