He looked closer to the CB character but other than that he was a parody of that character.


Cartoon's a silly and colorful action trip from CB to TV.
Completely different from bleak and gritty film adaptations.


For a silly and colorful movie.
It sounded NOTHING like the actual Russian speakin' English.
Heck, Mickey Rourke sounded more believable in IM2.

If we are going to judge movies on accents as comedies then 80% of hollywood movies would count as comedies.

You think russian is the only bad accent? Have you ever heard the kind of silly accents mexican villains sometimes have?
That would make most gangster movies "parodies" comedies.

I mean, are we really going to judge movies as comedies on accents, that would make every single Arnold Schwarzenegger movie a comedy...............

Besides the "silly"accent colossus didnt do anything overly humorous.

I mean, hellboy is NOTHING like the comic. The comic is dark and hellboy is serious. But the movie he makes jokes and that air guy has a silly russsian accent.

So i guess to you hellboy is a straight comedy.

Janelle Monae would be an excellent choice. I loved her in Moonlight and Hidden Figures, plus she's younger than Kerry (and probably less expensive) so would probably commit to more films.

Nah, thanks but no thanks. Domino is "ghostly white" with blue eyes and a black patch. And since there's no way they'll ever whitewash a black actress, we're just gonna get that "inverted" look. Natural Black Skintone with a white patch. Ugh. After the faithful DP costume, this is gonna suck. Especially since Olivia Wilde is out there:

Domino's skin is her "Superman S", "Wolverine Claws", etc, etc. Take that out, and you have a basic "leather bodysuit" design. Ugh...

Kinda. I have no problem with whatever race the actress is, but her white skin and black spot is the character's tademark. Even when she had long hair or a 90s X-TREME Costume, that was her defining feature. Take that away, and it's just not her. And because I don't think they'll ever paint a black person's face pale-white, we'll proably get her in her natural skintone with a white spot and maybe white hair. And that'll just not be the same. And considering her powers are a bit too crazy, they'll probably give her some subconscious TK. So we'll not get "Domino" if they go down that route. Hell, it's in the name, "Domino". Pitch Black and Pale White...

Yeah, because she's technically a mutant and her skin won't be completely white. It'll probably have a bluish tint, making her look more like this.

Eh, I don't think they'll do it, to be completely honest. This is a world that rages because 7-decades Straight Cap didn't get it on with his childhood friend. This is a world that cites Iron Fists's first problem as "suffering from its white lead". Making a black person "white" is gonna cause a ****storm. Tumblr gets angry because "dark" is used as a negative term in movies. Because God forbid folks are scared of scary witches living in dark woods... I just don't think that'd ever happen.

I can only imagine the backlash and the triggering it would cause to white wash the actress (even if it is blue-ish) this would get boycotted to high heaven. no way would they put any paint on her, people will be screaming about covering her natural beauty

The actress they chose wouldn't be my first choice...not even in my top 50, since I don't even know who she is, but Ii wouldn't want her playing Domino without the makeup.

Domino is no a black woman.

She's not even a normal white woman since her skin isn't even humanly natural.
