And don't you love Kingdom of the Cyrstal Skull, Carl? The same reasons why people are defending/liking this one are the same reasons people defended/liked KotCS... what's the difference?
I only know that I liked KOTCS and I couldn't even think about buying a copy of Wolverine when it's released on DVD much less sitting through it ever again. To each their own I guess...

I really have to wonder how many would've liked this had it not been leaked beforehand. I glad I decided not to watch it and to decide for myself.
I don't love KOTCS. I just don't hate it and didn't get the overt hostility towards it. Because...And don't you love Kingdom of the Cyrstal Skull, Carl?
What's the difference? While KOTCS has its fair share of goofy/cheesy/annoying moments, it's at least technically a competently made movie and miles ahead of WOLVERINE in that area. That isn't even subjective. The same reasons why people are defending/liking this one are the same reasons people defended/liked KotCS... what's the difference?
Irish Jedi hated it so to me that says it's probably pretty good.

To you
It's the same, apples to apples - a ton of the effects were goofy in KotCS, the story was muddled and confusing, there were way too many characters, bad acting, etc etc etc. (although I would argue that the story & plot is less muddled in Wolverine than in KotCS and the acting is WAY better - putting them about on par when it comes to technical competence)
I think that I just happen to like Wolverine better because I'm not as attached to the source material as I was with Indy
I like KOTCS too!
to decide for myself.
Agreed!
Indeed.
But the leaked is the same as the theatrical....and my problems were with the story/characters....and CGI and Music cannot fix that.
I think it boils down to who is deep into the comics and who isn't. There aren't too many movies that follow the books or comics that they're based on to a T. I think that's impossible in most cases.

right on dusty. after the first 20 minutes of KotCS i wanted to walk out of the theater and still refuse to watch it again. i really enjoyed wolverine and plan on seeing it one more time while its in the theater. it wasn't oscar material, but it certainly delivered the action goods. To you
