Re: DISNEY / FOX Deal Close! Thread Still Open! Please Come In!

So there will be a 21st Century Fox but quite possibly no longer a 20th Century Fox?

I would greatly miss that opening Fox fanfare.

Yeah I'm not clear on the branding but you gotta think they don't want any confusion so I doubt they'd continue using the Fox logo. But for all I know there could be great value in doing that. I don't care much about the logo but I'd love to get the fanfare in front of SW movies again.

Disney remake the Irwin Allen 60's shows. Snyder will do them.
In Like Flint reboot please.
Fantastic Voyage.

Re: DISNEY / FOX Deal Close! Thread Still Open! Please Come In!

Snyder would be grateful just to get hired to make Chucky 8 right about now lol

Re: DISNEY / FOX Deal Close! Thread Still Open! Please Come In!

I'm sure Snyder will bounce back. If anything, he'll be more careful and selective. I wasn't crazy about Sucker Punch but I'd rather he be doing original stuff like that for the people who enjoy it than being wrangled by nervous WB execs on high profile disasters.

Perhaps Fox would be a good Disney "adult" arm for R rated stuff and Oscar contenders.

Disney looking to convert the following movies into streaming shows:

Die Hard, Alien, Planet of the Apes, Predator

The world needs to end now.

First time in a long while I read something interesting that has "Disney" on it.

Is this forreal?

Given the utter **** Fox has done with all the action properties there...

Curious if this deal just includes Marvel characters and Star Wars, or if other properties will also be part of the deal?

If the latter, than Disney Parks could get very interesting.

I'm willing to bet Universal must be in their crosshairs as well.

If they bought universal, many of their problems would go away.

It's all of FOX's titles. Avatar is definitely an incentive considering how much Disney dumped into their Animal Kingdom addition.
