It’s alot of money no doubt but it does go much deeper than just SW and Marvel.

This is all related to their streaming service they’re launching.

They’re getting a much larger % of HULU for starters which will be probably be their framework for their streaming service.

Then you have to see the TV shows, broadband and production infrastructure, international licenses and a wealth of other services that come with it.

It’s huge.

In other words Disney will soon own your mortage lol

After this last trip to Disney World, they might as well. It's insane, but I don't regret it. Already thinking about the next trip when Star Wars Land opens, I'm scared to find out how much the SW themed hotel will cost.

So, we could have Aliens and Predators running around Hollywood Studios by the time I go back.



After the Kylo Ren meet and greet, Aliens and Predators might not seem so intense.

Touchstone and Miramax both release R-rated films. Disney decided to let Miramax go but not before making a few Halloween films. Micheal Myers is a Disney Princess.

So if this rumor that Jackman will return as Wolverine in the MCU turns out to be true, I won't hate this deal as much as I thought I would.

It would indicate an annexation of the X-verse rather than a reboot, which would be the smart move on Disney's part.

The FOX-Men would join the MCU rather than be recast and would bring along their heavy hitters with them (Jackman, Reynolds, McAvoy, etc).

A costumed Jackman Wolverine, Deadpool, Cable and new 616 FF actually sounds promising given that their existing filmmakers would come over with them (Hawley's Doom movie would still happen).
