Wikipedia has all the answers you seek. It lists all the serials still surviving and what episodes are missing.

My thoughts on this episode: Fantastic. Im really sad Donna will be here for only one series, the revelation about the Ood biology and finally a temporal position for this and TiP/TSP really helps. Maybe Series 5 will show us the 1st or 3rd Great and Bountiful Human Empires? I also don't think Rose returning is the big thing for this series as I don't think it is just one big thing. I think it is going to be a series of things, things being lost, lost things returning, choices made and not made, etc. UNIT next week (and in my world it is STILL United Nation Intelligence Taskforce and not Unified Intelligence Taskforce) along with Martha, Sontarans and the first time in the new series a past assistant and current assistant meet!

I still hate Donna, but that was a great episode. Love my some Ood. I also enjoyed the part about their brain sticking out of their mouths, I know some people like that :rotfl Looking forward to Martha coming back next week, should be a good one

I thought we established that you hate Catherine Tate and not really Donna, or is just hand in hand for ya? :lol

They've character and the actor has now combined into the same. :lol:lol:lol But with Martha and Rose showing up this season, it all balances out.....

My only problem with this episode is that this was another evil corporation episode with the baddies being the head of the corp. Kinda of a been there done that sort of thing.

As Old as the series is, there probobly is not a sci-fi cliche they have not done yet mate.
As for a past assistant and a present assistant meeting for the first time, did you forget Sara jane Memmnoc?

I guess I meant more recent assistants, as they seemed to be coming and going. Sarah Jane was FAR more then two assistants meeting to me. It was a connection of Old and New, an nod that she did love the Doctor and still does, showing Rose that she wasn't special, and dropped hints for this series finale :monkey3

Man you Brits are killing me with the spoilers - just skimming the thread but know too much already.

Just saw the first Donna episode and I want an adipose doll.

And I knew Billie was coming back - but in the first episode? Why isn't everyone talking about this? Is it going to be a whole season arc about which transdimensional version of her this is or something?

All I know at present is that she'll be in the last 3 episodes along with several other companions to assist the Doctor against Davros.
Whether this will be the parallel universe incarnation of the Dalek creator remains to be seen though it would seem likely considering Rose & co are going to be returning.

Just watched The Sontaran Stratagem and thought it was great.
Despite their diminutive stature the Sontarans were awesome and their leader General Staal was excellently portrayed by Christopher Ryan who had clearly done his homework and watched the old Sontaran stories as he'd got the voice right and everything.
The Medusa Cascade was mentioned again so it looks like that's the arc word for the series, the only slight annoyance for me was Donna's Mum who's more irritating than her offspring but fortunately she wasn't in it for long.
Can't wait for part 2 and more of Evil Clone Martha!

I think my view on Donna can be the same as my view of tomatoes. It doesn't matter how many I'd be made to eat, I'll still don't like them. In the same way it doesn't matter how many hours of Tate you force me to watch, or how 'good' she may or may not get, I will forever be fighting the urge to punch the screen when shes on it. Some people just set your teeth on edge and for me she's one of them. I can assure you I have not liked her, ever.

Also, I'm telling you, the season is going to end with Donna breaking the rules and changing time, probably to save someone like the Doctor. Her learning to drive the Tardis and veering "way to close to the 1980s" was foreshadowing. And it will only make people hate her more.

well I said it before and I'll say it again.. I love Donne in this. Much MUCH better than that "I can't act that well but y'know, I'm kind of pretty" Martha.

Having someone who argues with the Doctor, or calls him a plonker when he does something retarded is just brilliant. Much more interesting after having little girls who look up to him all doe eyed.

excellent stuff so far this season!

I only have 2 Donna episodes to go by, but the "you wanna MATE with me?" was cringworthy. And I think Freema was a pretty good actress as well as being very easy on the eye. Something you can't really say about Donna.

The Poison Sky was a great episode but next week looks like being the moment the franchise jumps the shark as RTD appears to have made the Doctor's daughter a clone of Buffy The Vampire Slayer.

She's still hot though...:D

Anyone else see Rose in today's episode?

When Donna is in the TARDIS, Rose appears on a screen for a few seconds, before Donna brings up an image of the Doctor...

Her name is Georgia Moffett and the ironic thing is she is the real life daughter of Peter Davison. :lecture

I'll have to look for that when I watch the episode again.
As for the Doctor's daughter I don't care who plays her,it's not something I want to see and after the trailer for next week it appears it'll be another RTD brainfart. If the best he can come up with for the Doctor's child is to make her a Buffy clone I shudder to think what he'll do to Davros and I'm not even excited by the return of Rose anymore.
The series went down the toilet under JNT in the 80's and appears to be going in a similar direction on RTD's watch. With any luck he'll leave as producer after the four specials next year and take the increasingly irritating Tennant with him.
