that was freaking awesome. This show has just got better and David tennant is in my opinion the definitive doctor, followed closely by Tom Baker.

This is the template for all shows, excitement, humour, sadness, horror, it just has everything!!

Tonights episode was amazing and the finale should top it!

Please David keep playing the Doctor, you were made to be a Timelord!

IMO Tennant isn't fit to even wear Tom's scarf but he has a few nice moments every so often.
And I wouldn't get too upset about the ending,David Tennant has already confirmed he'll be in the 4 specials next year but hasn't commited to anything else YET. I get the feeling the regeneration is going to be somewhat different to normal and his severed hand in the jar will have a part to play.

WOW! THat was a great episode...

Nice to see the Daleks once more...

And the whole Doctor being shot was a big middle finger to those fans obsessed with Rose and The Doctor's relationship...

Still, bring on next week...

Oh, and Davros really had a Palpatine feel to him, especially that grin...:monkey1

All I have to say is wow. Is it next Sattrurday yet? The quality on my phone wasn't that great but I dealt. Will not spoil anything but I am excited to see what happens and both loved and hated not having a preview for next week.

:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl Couldn't wait that extra week eh?

I read somewhere a while ago that he regenerates back into Eccleston, but I'm sure that's just rubbish.
But Dalek Caan says "he dances in the lonly places"? could that be foreboding of an Eccleston return? I know, I'm reaching

Can't wait until next week.

Just read this, could actually see it happen

The hand comes into play. The jar smashes. The glowing stops. Where the jar was, stands a naked David Tennant standing amongst some glass shards. Standing by the console is a dazed Christopher Eccleston in leather jacket and all. There was 110% of the Doctor in the console so he has split in two.

My take on the ending listed in spoiler tags for those who have not yet seen it.

I Think we might possibly see him regenerate into that "evil" timelord who's trapped in him, with the hand used at the end to regenerate him back into tennent.

Also, just want to add, I was expectiong it to be rose who got shot during the "field of flowers" run.

I can't wait to see the finale. I avoid spoilers (thanks for using the new spoiler tag!), but I do know it's going to be fairly huge.

Stupid Sci-Fi is going to lag us yet another week behind in the US due to the holidy. :banghead

Anyone getting excited yet? :joy :joy

Maybe a little but after last year's damp squib of a finale that followed a decent buildup I'm very reluctant to get really hyped up and I have a feeling that the whole storyline will be resolved by a "reset button" plot device where everything gets returned to normal by the ending.
I'm also hoping the rumors of the Doctor regenerating into seperate entities is BS unless 1 of them is Eccleston or whoever will follow Tennant.
I can just about watch 1 David Tennant but 2 of them would have me reaching for the "Off" button.
