Yup, Time Crash was last year, 2006 was a concert, and 2005 was Doctor 10 with post-regeneration crazies interacting with Rose for the first time since regeneration.
Spoilerite, Lee Mansfield is reporting that the new Doctor has "almost certainly" been cast.

I don't know anything about the actor, but from what I've read and seen by googling, we're in for something pretty new and exciting!

That's interesting. So I guess the BBC was trying to throw people off the scent by claiming casting wouldn't happen until spring?
In any event I hope that's not really who they're going with. I've never seen him do anything other than chew the scenery. It'll be like having another round of Colin Baker in the overacting Doctor stakes.

I just don't see the point in spreading rumors is all. And I've never found Patterson Joseph to be a very good actor. What's wrong with that?
Its fun to discuss the pros and cons and rumors are FUN. Nothing is wrong with your opinion on who is or isn't a good actor. Thats the point of posting the rumors is to get people's opinion. Whats lame is you sniping every thing anyone posts with lame responses.

I think he's got better,I've seen him in a few things recently and he was fine, meaning I wasn't aware of him being a 'bad' actor. But back at the start of his career with 'Neverwhere' etc, I have to admit, he was actually pretty damn poor.
So who are you that can call out what is BS and what isn't (with such absolute authority)? Are you an insider?

It doesn't take much. I remember when Eddie was swearing David Tennant was a definite for season 5.
Nobody leaked Eccleston. Nobody leaked Tennant. The BBC itself says there won't be casting until next year. So why would someone who isn't even a production insider suddenly get lucky?
He was pretty terrible in Jeckyll. If he is the choice I'm sure he'll be fine; they've got it right twice so far and I have faith they'll do it again. I would have preferred Chiwetel Ejiofor or Bill Nighy though.

True. But for every spoiler these guys report that doesn't come true the report many others that do. (and lets face it, when the rumors are regarding something thats either still in pre-production or not even in production yet at all, things are bound to change and evolve from when they were originally reported. For example. Lets pretend in 1999 a spoilerite came out and said that Arwen would be leading an elven charge to Helm's Deep in LOTR The Two Towers... movie comes out and no such thing ever occured on screen. Just because it didn't make the final cut doesn't make the spoiler any less valid)

He's been a few comedy series like Peepshow, Hyperdrive and Greenwing (all pretty funny). And he's gonna be in Survivors starting this weekend. Sadly I'm old enough to remember Survivors from the first time it was made, it's based on another of Terry Nations ideas, he also wrote Blakes 7 and created the Daleks.
