views are one thing, but constantly calling someone a retard because you don't like how he makes a program, or saying that there's a 'dubious agenda' that someone is 'trying to push on us' because they happen to show the world for how it is... *shock* ...with gay people in it.

That's the problem. Not differing opinions. It seems (and I'm sorry if I'm wrong) that you want everybody to be tolerant of your opinions (even though you constantly try to bash them down our throats with *every* post you make) ...and yet you're never tolerant of anybody who says they don't agree with you.

Anyway..... it's just a program. I watch it... I like it. If I ever don't like it... then I'll watch something else. It's not the end of the world... and some people around here need to realise that.

There just seems to be a mentality among some members of this site that has to try and single out anybody who doesn't agree with the majority and make them feel bad about posting.

The Star Wars section is by far the worst for this but it happens elsewhere and I get the impression that if I said "RTD & Steven Moffatt are geniuses,Nu-Who is awesome and David Tennant is the greatest Doctor" I'd be given an easier time.

I expect some flak for my views and generally couldn't care less what is said but saying things like "Have you considered therapy?" is kinda uneccessary when all I'm doing is talking about why I don't like something.

I think there's room to be nice to those with disagreeing opinions...and I wouldn't say you need therapy. I just have to wonder why you're in a thread about spoilers in an ongoing show in which you constantly remind us of how you're not watching it anymore....? Maybe you can start a classic Who thread to talk about the old show?

I'll admit I go on a bit too much at times but it's just out of frustration at something I used to enjoy so much turning so bad.
I've kept watching this long out of a sense of optimism that things could & would return to the standards of the first couple of series but series 4 and the finale in particular convinced me enough is enough as far as the RTD era is concerned.
Maybe things will be different once Steven Moffatt takes over and despite my considerable scepticism that his era will be any better I will possibly give the show another go when he takes over.

I wonder when that particular interview was recorded? This could've been weeks ago and Tennant was merely musing about what the next actor's experience will be like and used chap as a general term...

Steve Moffat has gone on record as saying that he believes the Doctor should be in his 40's so I don't know if I believe the Matt Smith.

If were a betting man I would say:

1) Patterson Joseph
2) Chiwetel Ejiofur
3) Tim McInnerny

I have warmed to the idea of Sean Pertwee though.

I actually think PJ is not a contender. .. Although.. it IS interesting that Sci Fi is playing Serenity tomorrow and CE2 was in Serenity and Sci Fi airs Who in the US. Hahaha no, I'm praying it is Pertwee.

Haha I honestly don't believe ANY of the spoiler folks anymore after the McGann stinger that went out. The Anti-Spoiler King (The Moff) has appeared to plug up most of his leaks. I mean, the guys over at DWF were POSITIVE an announcement was coming day after Christmas.
