Re: Dr. Doom LSF!

If you can afford to drop 2000 bucks on this another 200 shouldn't be to big of a deal.

On a side note I so wish this was a 1/4 PF, amazing piece.

Yea, this pose is awesome. Would've loved this as a PF. Damn those LSF. Stealing time, energy, money and cool poses from us 1/4 collectors.

I really wish this was 1/4 scale too. Kinda hope those new pics are leading up to one. It's wishful thinking i know :lol

Re: Dr. Doom LSF!

Don't forget you'll get like $125-$150 in rewards points by ordering Doom lsf from Sideshow.

Re: Dr. Doom LSF!

Hehe, that's the misleading thing with paying in installments. :)

Paying in installments does make it better, much better than dropping 2K in one drop, unless your loaded that is :)
I would only ever have room to display one piece in this scale & I would love it to be Indiana Jones as a stand alone piece but that thing is looking pretty bad from the pictures so far. I definitely want to stick to 1/4 for my comic characters & keep them all in scale.

I totally agree, but it should be done with care. Way too many folks initiate too many agreements for their own good.

But by the end of the day, you spend the same money (if not more). Might be wise to just save up the money yourself, and making the one big payment once you're done.

I know that's easily said. :)

Exactly what I've done and provided the price range for the Doom LSF is around the $2000 then I have raised the money already from selling off a few of my rare PF's...this will be my centre piece display for sure...the moment I set eyes on it I knew I had to have it! Bring on the Pre Order :yess:

Yeah I know what your saying I just recently put my deposit down on the Hulk & Deadpool PF's so I've secured them but I haven't got a monthly payment plan but I can pay bits of when ever I like. I'm going to hopefully get Hulk payed up in two monthly payments. Who I'm buying it from isn't expecting it in until June so it's quite away off yet for me away & then I'll pay off Deadpool. After that I'm only planning on buying Supes & Catwoman PF's & unless SS release a Spiderman PF I'm going to be saving up for some Grail Pieces I've been wanting.

Re: Dr. Doom LSF!

Just wanted to say how much i love this piece and cant wait for it to be available for Pre Order (which should be very very soon according to sources at Sideshow :yess:)

One thing i have noticed, although not sure if the 2 can be linked, is that i have recently seen an influx of Dr Doom Premium Formats up for sale in both Europe and the States asking for in the region of around $2200 which is more or less the going rate for this piece. Anyway, i was wondering if some owners of the PF are selling their pieces to help fund the upcoming Doom LSF? After all, i know which i'd rather have in my collection...i have never owned the Doom PF and boy did i try to get one over the past year but ever since i heard SS were releasing a 1:2 Doom i knew that i had to have it...i now have no interest in the Doom PF whatsoever...still a lovely piece though

Re: Dr. Doom LSF!

I still want to get this. If it's open order, I will probably look into it in 2014. If it's not, well then I wont.

Re: Dr. Doom LSF!

I love this. It's a stunning piece but I can't be getting into 1/2 scale statues. Cost, room & wife my 3 main reasons

Re: Dr. Doom LSF!

I will admit that the cost is quite great on these. However, for me there are a few characters that are worth putting this money into. I can't even imagine if they did a Buffy lsf. There is no possible way I could say no. No way in heck. And this Doom is just one of those statues that I look at and think...I would be sad if I didn't have this. I can live without it, but I'd be sad.
