G-boy. Can you keep your eyes open for me as well? I just bought the 1:6 Martha and I need more more more. :lol

I'll do what I can... usually they just seem to get 1 or 2 of a figure. Its the same place that had Boromir for only $27.50.

Here's some pics of OOD... like I said, the paint work is weak. But he makes a cool alien addition to the collection. And the little ball actually has a magnet so it sticks to his hand, a nice touch.

Figured I'd put this up here. Toywiz.com has ALOt of the 1/6 doctor who figures. they have the Ood, and The 10th doctor, and the rest. the doctor is bit much ( 34.99) but the rest are pretty good prices. My doctor just shipped from them today.

The Ood is a great sculpt - someone did a repaint and really made it sing. Wish I could find that image.

Man, their prices are out of control... HT Pred2: $299 HT Powerloader $449 :google

Got to love aftermarket scalping :)
BUT if you want a 10th doctor, that seems to be the going rate.

now to find a certian pair of walkie talkies....

THANK YOU FOR THAT SITE! They have a really good list (though some what outdated now) of the 5 inch range. At least it lists just about everything that is currently out there.

Whona.com sometimes puts things on special in their sale section when they have damaged packaging.

Just yesterday I got a clockwork man I ordered for $15. The box is scrunched but the figure is fine and I wanted it for display anyway.

I think the only 12" they still had on sale like that right now was a cyberleader but I thought it might help someone.

You can pick up most 12" figure for under a tenner on UK ebay, I don't know what shipping is like to the US though. I just won a Judoon for £5 with £3 postage, i got Martha a couple of weeks ago for £5 as well.

Just visited that site....no 1:6 Dr who that I can see at all. :monkey2

I'm not sure if you were responding to my post, but in case you were, I just checked whona.com. If you click on the "super sale specials" on the left menu below the GC , the page it takes you to lists the damaged box Cyberleader right now. They do real time inventory and since they only have 1 on special, if someone puts it in their cart it might disappear but reappear later if they that person doesn't buy it.

Also, on the menu, if you click Doctor Who, then toys, then Character Options they have in undamaged packaging the 10th Doctor in Spacesuit for $19.95, Clockwork Man for $24.95, Cyberleader for $24.95, Cyberman for $19.95, Dalek Sec for $24.95, Judoon Captain for $29.95, Martha for $22.95, Novice Hame for $22.95 and Ood for $19.95 . No regular suited Doctor though...

Aw, I just ordered a Clockwork Man from them and paid full price. :banghead
I got him today and he's a great figure. Though the pockets on mine were sown on a little asymmetrical so that's bugging me. He looks like he only has one gold button on his right side and none on the left because the pocket is sown over top.

But I did take advantage of the $15 Cyberleader, Thanks!
Now all I need is a Doctor in suit but I don't want to spend $35 to get one.

well, My 10th doctor arrived today. I'm impressed by his suit, accessories, and headsculpt. His boddy, however... well.. I've seen better posture from a wet piece of spegetti. Gonna have to do something about it. Odly enough, his original body reminds me ALOT of the Buck, Which is funny, considering his clothes will not fit a buck.
Ah well. Tennant's short, time to cut and modify hhis neck to fit a Medi body I soppose. His clothes fit that body like a dream.

Now if only he had a REAL tie Like the HT clark Kent/superman 2 in 1 .

Yeah the bodies aren't up to much and if you get a particularly loose one like I did with my Clockwork Man then getting them to stand unaided can be tricky. I suppose they aren't bad for a mass market figure line but when I've a bit more cash I think I'll probably replace a few of the bodies and if the Doctor's attire fits well on a Medicom body then that'll be the one I'll use.

it's Realy the only option. A sideshow buck is far too big, and a hot toys body is bigger in the chest than a buck, so no go there either. I'm just gonna have to modify the crap out of the head to make it fit a medi mick. there will be cutting involved.
Although, a Dragon body MIGHt work. I just don't have one handy.

Modifying the neck to fit a Medicom body should be doable. I've got the head off the main body but there's still a plastic part that needs to be cut off. Once that's removed the neck looks similar to a Hasbro one and they can be made to fit a Medicom body with a bit of effort.
