I just couldnt be bothered with all the hassle that Dino is putting up with, my health and sanity is far more important to me.
So in the end i sold my leaky DX at a cut rate, i lost a little on what i paid for it and have now re bought a new DC version from Q
I feel much happier now but i would still say

There were several case only a few pages back that had gotten rejections as well. It is sad that it takes so much effort to get over the stumblingblocks HT has put up filter out some of the requests and it is definitely not right. however I would say those cases all have been taken care of now that HT responding to FB again but I do recommend to stay respectful at first at least to hopefully get things done faster. You can always take it to the next level of intensity at anytime and then no one is to blame but HT. I have seen plenty of your posts and work and I know you can do it and you will get your replacement just like all of us who have prevailed. But yeah take them to the Hulk level when nothing else works

hi guys my DX2 has a little oil on abs, on the fence about getting it replaced but after seeing that video. is there no other fix for this.

We've seen how that doesn't work. Being polite about it will only get you bashed by the IM2 douchebags. The fact that HT has shown absolutely no respect to their own customers pretty much demands that they get none in return.
Nope. That's the curing process the suit went through breaking down. It's literally decomposing. Taking out the oil will make it shrivel which will eventually then dry out and crack faster. Leaving it alone will cause it to bloat and eventually gunk up and melt together. I'd recommend joining Dino on his Facebook crusade to get a replacement.
There is respectfully demanding what you deserve which you can step up. Nothing to do with being polite. I can be very demanding and yet stay respectful and the last few rejections were taken careful of in this manner on FB. Going fullblast right out of the gate on FB when seemingly presenting your case the first time may just result in HT ignoring the posts there again and we would loose another means of getting thongs taken care of. Tough part is that fce to fce it's easier to do this and when online we only have the means of language to convey our determination and then comes the fact that their English is simply not on the level.

Geil did it cost you much to sent yours back to hot toys.
First time I managed to get on the group return to HT by Toys2 and since I live right there it didn't cost me anything. The second one I am exchanging now they only permit to deal with HT direct now but I managed to convince them to allow me to drag the return out a bit more so I can mail it when I am in HK which should be significantly cheaper. Yeah they won't allow me to exchange face to face in TH. They will then mail the replacement back to Toys2.

Thanks Geil i was talking to ERIC and he said he would email them when i send my notice to them, that should help, this was last week when i was asking about my T-800 that i ordered late.

I just got mine today. Its oil free and beautiful. Yay.
How long did you have to wait once the faulty one was delivered to get notified that a new one was on the way. Did they also give you tracking information?
According to my tracking with Hong Kong Post, my package has arrived back to Hot Toys today, the 5th. I sent it out on the 2nd.

Perhaps a calmer approach would make Hot Toys respond? When I emailed them explaining my DX was leaking they asked me to provide photos and a reciept - My camera is horrid so the photos were blurry and I got it off ebay so I sent them a paypal screen shot but becuase I was thankful and calm and not angry in my communications they responded positively to me and told me they would post me a new body.
I waited a few days and then emailed them to see if they recieved it. In the next reply they told me that it was recieved and they would be shipping it out shortly. I then emailed them again 3 days later and I was told it was shipped and was supplied a tracking number. Took about a week to arrive.

I would be calm too if I was like some of you and was getting a replacement. I don't enjoy losing my temper but the figure cost me 165 pounds. That is not something I take lightly, and now I have to go to all this effort to get a replacement, when I have other worries to deal with

You get my serious respect Dino. Alot of the American collectors don't realize what us international freaks have to deal with in terms of taxes and conversion rates. If half the people telling you to calm yourself sat down and figured out the conversion rate, they would realize why you were so flippin mad. Spending almost $250 US on this figure, only to have it dissolve in your hand is unnacepptable. It gets me mad just thinking about it
