Ughh I still have some leakage every week, but not enough to get a replacement. I don't see any deterioration yet, but I still think I shouldn't have to wipe it every week with what I paid for it.

I'm starting to worry now...

I've sent my figure the same day as vodoun. His replacement is on the way. DinoLast have sent it one week or so after us both - his replacement on the way soon.

I've wrote yesterday a mail to HT and they told me that my figure hasn't arrived yet. I don't know what I've thought at that moment, but I've used a regular post service, so i don't have a tracking-id. So i hope it isn't lost anywhere... =(

I thought you did get it insured and tracking. As that was the main thing I clarified when I took it down to the Post Office. That it had to be insured and had tracking with receipt.

£16.91 for Airsure Small Pkt, covers up to £50

It's probably just taken the slow boat over if it's gone regular.

Doesn't matter. Eventually, it'll deteriorate anyway whether you wipe it or not. So it's better to get a replacement before it rots.

And what's with all the assy Medicom posts? I'd say even a siv-leaking DX 02 on it's worst day with the crooked horns is hands-down better.

nope. i think i got a second batch figure cuz mine shows no signs of leaking at all and i've had it for over a week

I'm aware, but HTs won't replace mine because there's not enough leakage/damage. Especially since they want it without the belt which puts the pressure on the belly which causes the leakage for me.

I really hope so... I don't know why i didn't get it insured. Normally I send packages always insured. Ah man... I'll have my fingers crossed until Hot Toys will give me a message that he arrived.

Hope it won't be too long.

Bombard their facebook page with images of your leaky suit. That seems to be the popular way of getting a replacement. A shame they make you jump through all the hoops but it's better than having a $200 figure rot over the course of 5 years because they ____ed up and rushed the curing process while manufacturing the suit.

.

I'm afraid I have to agree this will be the fate of most of the leaky Batmen.

Mine was not even one of the major leaky ones, yet it still managed to rot the Kevlar and damage the under suit

If you intend to get it replaced do not wipe it down anymore, leave the belt on and just let it ooze to the max. You could accelerate the process but not somthing I would encourage you to.
As for the eventual demise .. my second Dx02 only leaked on the two lower abs for the longest time especially when I continued to wipe it. Then after pretty much leaving it for month+ it is now on all for pates and the underpants are melting so don't expect any miracles with yours and think yours will be an exception

Just checked mine tonight. At least I have a cool "Alien acid damage" Batman. :lol :( :monkey2

For all their detail and SA, HT is having some QC issues that justify questioning their hefty price tags. Muscle bodies deteriorating, this leakage issue. Hope they can solve those issues as they are pretty major ones.

Why bother? They can just ignore them, pop out the next Iron Man figure, most fanboys go ape____ and even those burned by this figure still by the next release. They have no checks and balances.

Not cool for the fans, but unless HT has a real incentive to change (or disincentive not to change), they don't have to do a damn thing.

I guess I will post on Facebook if I get the canned "not all Batman figures are leaking" response. I just sent them an e-mail last night. . .as futile as that seems to be with those guys.

So if I wanted mine replaced i should just post pics on their facebook site? Do i have to send just the figure or the whole box? Also how long does it take?
