Suki from Hot Toys just told me that my Bats arrived this morning. Maaaan am I glad ^^

I really was worrying my package was lost. I've asked Hot Toys to tell me as soon as possible when it arrives and I told them that I have send it with regular mail, so no insurance and no tracking, so I'm worrying about it. Suki noted it and wrote me immediately after it arrived. So kudos to Suki and Hot Toys for their service.

@butters: No, I wouldn't post directly the pics at Facebook. Try contacting Hot Toys via mail. Give them a chance. If they're ignoring you and you won't get a reply after more then one week, just ask again and keep being friendly. When they ignore you twice then I would post it at Facebook.

Yeah Suki is awesome, always immediately reply to my queries. In fact, she just emailed me, that my replacement Bats is OTW!

I got my DX 02 two months ago from a local retailer and it hasn't leaked at all. I don't know if that has to do with the constantly air-conditioned house I live in, and I know the figure isn't from the new batch.

I feel awful for you guys. Especially because this is such an essential character to own. Hope the new batch is fine.

if mine does start rotting and HT wont do anything i will make a video of it being chewed by my dog, after if it survives i will pack some fireworks around his "utility" belt and light that crap up, again being recorded, posted on youtube and facebook

My replacement body is in the post now. I've got the tracking number and it's being sorted for delivery to the UK.

I'm guessing it'll take a week as long as it slips through customs.

This thread is chalk full of shattered posts from people who went that route, played nice, were respectful and in the end were told there wasn't enough damage/leaking to warrant a replacement. That's just a waste of time and yet another stall tactic. If you want a replacement, go with what works. And right now, that's posting pics on their Facebook page. Besides, there will inevitably come a point where replacements are no longer available. It'd suck to be playing the nice guy and lose out to someone who took the game to them, got their replacement, and all you get is that email stating no more are available. You can choose to reply with, "Well at least I was morally kosher about it" but in the end, you're still stuck with a $200 piece of decomposing garbage vs. treating them the way they treat their customers and getting the body you deserved in the first place.

Just got my DCD DX Bats

My abs are ever so slightly off centre, does anybody know how to twist this back onto center?

Thanks

Hi, my replacement body suit still leaking oil and now is destroying the suit. I tried to contact with Hot Toys customer sevice but they don´t answer my question.

What can i do?.

When did you email them? Try to contact them on Facebook and post pictures...and also if they don't answer, than just keep sending mails to Hot Toys.

Class action lawsuit, It has become a way of life in America. Some idiot sued Google because the directions told her to take the freeway...... She was walking and got hit! Why not do it to Hot Toys if the court system allows it?

I noticed that their return policy says that you have to have bought the figure from a retailer, and not from an eBay seller to get a replacement. Do you guys know if this applies to the leaky abs situation? They haven't told me that they wouldn't accept my return yet, but my photo was apparently insufficient and they are asking for more pics and a more detailed receipt, including a line in my e-mail saying the following:

Remarks: After-sales service will only be provided for first-hand purchase via official channels.

After-sales service is not applicable for purchase on online auction sites (e.g. eBay, Yahoo) and unofficial channels.

Due to the limited edition nature of our collectibles, we cannot guarantee that all accessories or items can be replaced. Please note that over 30 days of purchase or product released for more than 1 year will NOT be accepted. Hot Toys reserves final rights on all replacement requests.

No matter where the thing was bought, this is a clear manufacturing defect. And it isn't like people are gonna screw them by giving their defective suits to other collectors after receiving replacements, as you have to mail it back to them. . .

No responde from Hot Toys. I don´t know why SAA still don´t answer my question. Today i check one part under a shoulder pad and is horrible, the plastic is destroying day by day.
