Kapital, they sent you a replacement body but it wasn't the hard abs one? What the heck was the point then, Hot Toys?

Yes, it wasn´t the hard abs one. It was sent many months ago. It leaked since the first day but i didn´t know that the oil will eat the suit.

Finally SAA contacted with me asking me for pictures. I sent these pictures:

wow...thats a lot worse than mine was....keep at them they must replace it for you..

Hope so.

I'm litle tired of bad dx suit.

Also i bought a new batman from bbts and it also has problems. Not with the oil but in the end of the back it has rest of glue.

I don't if i also have to contact bbts for the other suit that has problems. Also the box is in bad condition.

This is very bad when you paid so much money, so much time waiting, and so much ilusions.

Hmm, how bad is the condition of the box? I thought they ship it to you with the original brown shipper.

And what do you mean by the glue? Got a pic? I would contact BBTS immediately.

I noticed that their return policy says that you have to have bought the figure from a retailer, and not from an eBay seller to get a replacement. Do you guys know if this applies to the leaky abs situation? They haven't told me that they wouldn't accept my return yet, but my photo was apparently insufficient and they are asking for more pics and a more detailed receipt, including a line in my e-mail saying the following:

Remarks: After-sales service will only be provided for first-hand purchase via official channels.

After-sales service is not applicable for purchase on online auction sites (e.g. eBay, Yahoo) and unofficial channels.

Due to the limited edition nature of our collectibles, we cannot guarantee that all accessories or items can be replaced. Please note that over 30 days of purchase or product released for more than 1 year will NOT be accepted. Hot Toys reserves final rights on all replacement requests.

No matter where the thing was bought, this is a clear manufacturing defect. And it isn't like people are gonna screw them by giving their defective suits to other collectors after receiving replacements, as you have to mail it back to them. . .

That's an absolutely disgraceful policy. I live in the UK and you pretty much have to use e-bay to buy figures as there's hardly any "official" retailers. Besides as you quite rightly pointed out it is a manufacturing defect, therefore the manufacturer is responsible. This is why I ultimately ended up buying just the head to go with my V1.

The external brown was perfect but the internal box has a hit and the dx box is afected by that hit.

Is sure that the damage was before put in the bbst box.

The problem with the glue you can see it in one picture that i put in the other post. Is like they tryed to glue the back to the other part of the suit in the end of the back.
I think is bad glued and you can see the rests of the glue.

Jesus. Hot Toys can't even get they DCD batch right. After all the problems, they still managed to pull out even more. Broken joints, glue residue, crossed eye Batmen. They quality contor is really terrible to be honest.

This happens with all figures, out of the thousands they produce, there's bound to be a few mishaps. As long as it's not happening with every figure or a large quantity, we're fine.

I sent a mail to BBTS for my other defective Batman Dx, hope they can resolve my other problem. (Glue residue, damaged box).

I still waiting response from Saa of Hot Toys.

Ouch, nasty bump. BBTSs customer service is excellent, so I wouldn't worry too much.

Yes they are great and they sent me a replacement for the Batman dx that i bought from them.

THANKS BBTS and thanks to RITA.

Hot Toys also will sent me a replacement suit for the other replacement oily suit that i received from them.

Finally i will resolve the problems with the 2 DX BATMAN suit that i have with problems.

I got my replacement today
Hard Abs and no oil :rock
Though I would recommend to anybody to never remove the plastic divider underneath
Also it came with some extra boots :rock

Im thinking about doing a replacement. How bad does the body have to be in terms of damage? and do you have to pay the shipping??

They look oily, but I don't think Hot Toys will except those pictures. Take some outside or in a well day lighted room.

Then email them to Hot Toys Customer Service with a Paypal receipt, or whatever type of receipt you have
