I sent HT a picture of my destroyed rubber abs, and they responded saying that that wasn't enough, so they made me send pics of the oily abs, as well. Problem is, mine aren't that oily anymore, after the oil destroyed the rubber abdomen on my figure. Which is kind of a bummer, because I never took pics when it was really leaking.

I really didn't mind the leaky oil until it ate away at the rubber, either, but now it is unacceptable to me.

Crossing my fingers that HT doesn't give me the run-around.

put some water on the abs and then take a pic

Failing that, get angry like I did :lol

Strange to see it dry isn't it? and all the same matte grey. The first week or so it took me a while to get use to it since it was months seeing wet areas for so long and been so use to the wet areas. Great that they have given you your flawless body.

how long has everybody waited until they got their tracking-id for the replacement body?

They confirmed that they got my defective body, but still haven't heard that they have sent the replacement to me

Congrats, Dino!

Thanks guys

And Vodoun you are exactly right, it sort of feels strange not to see it all shiny around the ab area

A small bit of oil has started showing on 1 of my replacements. That I'm now having to wipe down once a day. On the black trim of the bicep plate that I've marked the section where I have to clean.

That's why I made sure the Kevlar was not touching the shoulder pad, I did that with my previous one too.

Thats not the cause though. I tried this with my last figure. I had tissue wedged between it for months, no plastic in contact and it was still oozing.

The good thing is 1 or 2 swipes and it's gone/dry but it keeps coming back again.

Oh great.
Well that was a nice 24 hours not worring about my Batman :gah:

Yeah I got that too but they said that before the bodies started showing up with plastic abs.

I've only had that body since the 11th of June. The biceps plates had been dry until a few days ago. Just one tiny little section shines up by the night is out but it's not glistening. (rubber trim only) Though no doubt if I left it it would. Hence why I'll keep giving it a swipe. The last figure I had when I left it even though it looked fine in the box the kevlar plates ruined itself.

Damn vodoun that doesn't sounds too good. Your leaking body has hard abs? Now I have to start worrying about my Batman...Others who have the Batman from DCD release, do you have any problem with it so far? I just checked mine and I don't see any leakage...yet.:dunno

Yeah, it has hard plastic abs. No, no other problems. Just the little black trim around the kevlar pattern thats just slightly seeping on the one bicep plate. Thats all.

I've placed small bits of kleenex below all the shoulder pads anyway. Not that you can tell in the photo anyway. It's just a preventive measure just incase the trim goes to leak below the shoulders as well. Thats how it went wrong the last time. I left it in the box with nothing to absorb it. Better safe than sorry.

They should have just made the bicep plates out of plastic as well. They have hardly any effect on articulation. They'll always stay a half circle.

Are you serious?!?! Aww man this is just awful. I really thought we DCD batchers would be safe.

Well... Just checked mine and there a tiny drop of oil on the right bicep. Really disappointed. It was a good month. I'm going to have to pic up something to put between the two to keep it from touching.
