Which cost people to fork out even more money for shipping that never solved it for them. Who's conning who here?

...Who's conning who here?
So who's stiffed who...
Obviously it sucks really hard that you guys got a defective figure/replacement (I have said this many times in these threads) but for those of us who have been patiently waiting on DCD pre-order for nearly a year, this new rubber development is pretty exciting.

Of course, but you have to understand that it feels like a big "____ you" from Hot Toys to some people if this pans out. If HT acknowledges the screw up and changes materials for the DCD shipment, the honorable, be it costly, thing to do would be to offer replacements for everyone that got sent defective material, and certainly should offer a second replacement for those given the half assed replacements. There is something fishy about replacements being delivered and the same time, a policy is added to their site declaring that people can only get one. They seem to be going out of their way to not help people that got stuck with a bad one, which is going to infuriate people on the receiving end of that.
Sucks? it's criminal! People fork out over $200 and they get the shaft for their shoddy manufacturing and somehow it's the customers fault...
People happy with the results will be slamming people posting frustration here and on Facebook, and people that are frustrated are going to be slamming folks who are having a jolly good time. I'm actually dreading the end of May now, things could get really ugly around here soon.
Don't do Facebook. Guess I'm glad.
People posting there looking for answers out of HT regarding the problem were criticized by people who didn't feel like seeing anymore TDK business, it was a little troubling, they didn't have to like it, but to put people down for trying to get resolution on a defect that bothers them is messed up.
