I agree with this, I personally perfer a solid head sculpt with most figures, Pers seems to work best with batman masked figures, it works great with keaton batman, was pretty good with bruce lee and a trainwreck with indy, However pers system does not improve any sculpts imo it only adds more posing options. In this case I think the sculpt it is great only pers hurts it.
Overall I'm pleased with the improvements and happy with what looks like a great figure. Glasses can fix the issue with the pers and without glasses i'm sure I could still find poses that make the eyes to look good. Maybe the pers system could be used in 1:4 scale with better results as 1:6 is a bit to small to really benefit much from it.

Eyes are sh it. The front on shots look god awful, but the rest seem pretty decent. Neck is horrible. The face sculpt itself though seems to be an upgrade even though it's very soft. Definitely an upgrade over that hideous prototype that looked nothing like Arnold.
Am I the only one who thinks the box is awful and uninspiring? It just looks bad and don't say "But it's a DX and it's supposed to be subtle and classy". It looks cheap and boring IMO. Poorly thought out.
I had no intentions of buying this rehash and still won't, I'm happy with my MMS version which is more than adequate. I just feel that this is such an underwhelming release and a waste of resources that could've been put towards a character that is still waiting to be done in this franchise ('84 Kyle Reese) or one that truly is in need of an update (future Reese) or a battle damaged version.

It does, definitely. And it does on Jack Sparrow as well. But overall it seems to be a detriment as it has ruined most of the other sculpts that utilize it.

I pre-ordered it, but from what I've seen so far I'm having doubts I should have. It's on its way though so I'll look it over in hand and see if it gets my attention back.

I think Hot Toys dropped the ball on this one. They should have gone for a BD look along with a clean sculpt. Would have made up for it. Should have come with a gas mask and the MM1 gas launcher.

Definite improvement on the proto and their MMS release. Just look back the the proto pics and these final pics... you'll be like wtf was going on with the protos!

This figure makes me glad I never bought the enterbay 1:4 scale t800, I don't like that scale but the figure does look great, this however has an even better sculpt and comes with more weapons and gimics and is in 1:6 scale which is my perferred collecting size. I'm happy with what I'm getting

That photoshop makes it look like t1 t800, which does show he does look abit young, all and all a great improvement and likeness.
think shape of face and hair is questionable , just a quick paint up to show.
