yea "stay here. I'll be back" would've been my choice. Maybe it's a bit predictable or cliche to use but it works better than "I know now why you cry;" that should've been saved for the Steel Mill version

... I say this because with the sunglasses on, it looks great but with them off, it looks horrible in my opinion.

As I was hoping it would not - PERS killed this head sculpt.

If this is really what the new head sculpt looks like, then I am definitely swapping and using this new one with the sunglasses on and the old sculpt for the Cyberdyne look. I say this because with the sunglasses on, it looks great but with them off, it looks horrible in my opinion.

I'd say thats a good idea. Sunglasses on appearance has certainly improved. I think the hair contributes to that - it looks more like it did in all the scenes where he wore the sunnies. Also that they look more accurately sized and shaped.

Well I actually think the eyes aren't the worst part. I think the shape of them are off though. The ears look funny and the hair seems too big on top or something. I think the biggest part is that it looks fake. The face looks dollish and even though people have complaints about the old sculpt, that one has more realism in there. However for whatever reason, the new sculpt works with the sunglasses on.

I think these are the best ones from the bunch of close-up portrait shots:

You may really have to play the angles game with this sculpt to get the most out of it. Kinda like how every body who has the DX12 Batman is tilting the head down to make it look better.

With the glasses on, however, it's exceptional.

Better likeness than the MMS, that's for sure. But sculpt seems soft and paintjob is debatable, considering the problems of the softness come from the sculpt and not the paint itself. Still glad I sold my MMS for this.

I think one way of looking at things is that I always felt the MMS sculpt couldn't be used for a Dutch or a Conan, but now the DX sculpt definitely seems much more arnie.

The likeness, jacket and accessories seal the deal for me.

Yep this sculpt definitely works better with the sunglasses. It's ironic too that this would be the case since this was suppossed to represent him not wearing them.

This angle on the proto always bugged me. I'm glad it looks much better now:

The fellow who did this (I think it says SINED) did a great job. I don't know if he's on these boards, but if he ends up adding a shot of the DX, I'd love to see it:

Just got home to see that i missed about 15-20 pages, I was on page 272 when I went to work I like the new sculpt way better than the prototype so thats a plus, some photos of the pers looks wacky but most are pretty good. The likeness to arnie is the best t2 arnie they have done yet, that is as it should be, it looks very simliar to the enterbay head with better hair and no eggs on the fourhead which is great, pers though seems to hurt the likeness abit but not like the indy jones bad, just abit. Overall I'm super happy to have this on the way

for me eyes mouth and nose are arnold in all the way but the shape of the face and hairs are wrong..the first t2 had another angry expression different than this one but with the glasses on is quite perfect to me...
at the end I am happy is not turned out like the awful indy head, i am not so nerdy like others (without offence) for the arnold looklike comparison.
when I see this head I see arnold and for me is enough..
