Well this is the Cyberdyne version and he was not wearing a black shirt there.

And Rorywan forgot the accessory tray.

So yea, this DX is stocked up well.

Michael Jackson just came with a shirt and hands.

Oh yeh I know that. Just for a dx I feel he should come with all.

He doesn't wear the sunglasses in cyberdyne either and they're included.

Cause da terminator has to have shades.

This was the last potential figure from 2012 for me. Pass.

I didn't forget about it, I mentioned it in my post. We will have to agree to differ here. I think it's an extremely light DX package, not much different to the MMS.

I mean compare it to the MMS T1000?

Well this is a Tsang (with TJ Cha) elbow too...

double jointed elbows have been used long before. and among different brands. that's what i meant.

so cooool. i have to get one head at least for that feature. and then check if i feel need to replace other two.

Anyone going to attempt battle damaging this up? Id like to see it. Not the full on Steel Mill BD but the light BD from the "Hasta La Vista, Baby." scene.

This looks really good.

I was planning on getting this figure. It wasn't great, but the proto was enough for me to want to sell my MMS at the time which I grew to dislike, keep a few pieces and pick up this version. Now I'm really looking forward to getting this. This really does look good. I love Luka's head shots. They're the most natural looking photos of the head I've seen and look like they're right out of the movie.

I just wish they would define the arms a bit more. HT's triceps are almost always a blob with no definition.

Funny - Luka's shots of the head look a bit better but the PERS is still killing the likeness - Shades on for sure.

Fantastic shot. The likeness is amazing there.

Then I see this shot. It still looks great aside from the eyes looking cartoony. I hope this effect is lessened in person.

Another great head shot. Eyes have more of the cartoony effect than the first pic, but still, it doesn't kill the sculpt, just prevents it from topping EB's IMO.

Everyone complaining about the accessories keep in mind that this is also a good bit cheaper than recent DX's and even some MMS releases. This is $206.99 at Alter Ego. So really the price is right in line what you get. Well in recent terms at least with the exception of Luke.

I don't like the eyes. I think it needs the glasses to look more like Arnold.

I'm glad I held off on this. My coomodel guns + my MMS are fine for me.

I am just hoping for HT to do a BD of this one.

T-800 DX vs T-800

Well... The mouth and ears look good. Nose is good too. They have the crook in it.

Agreed. There's some obvious improvements. BUT THE EYEES

As I was hoping it would not - PERS killed this head sculpt.

I'm sure I'm in the minority but all these new Hot Toys figure's are starting to look the same, especially the eyes and skin textures.

I guess that's not a bad thing but I used to see these figures of the characters as individual and unique. Now? They're all beginning to look the same. It's pretty strange considering different sculptors work on different licenses.

This "derp" PERS feature is getting old in my opinion as well as the off color skin tones and other general features (like removable hair pieces). They're starting to look like animatronic toys than real collectible figures with solid, hand crafted head sculpts.

Definitely agree - I can see way too many similarities between the DX12 Bruce Wayne and this Arnie sculpt, and that should NOT be the case

Anyone who says the mms is a better sculpt does not know what Schwarzenegger looks like.

I know what Schwarzenegger looks like. I just think the sculpt and PERS are killing it for me. Doesn't look badass enough and kind of goofy to me. I love the terminatorish "glazed" look in the original's eyes, and it's instantly recognizable as Arnie. Is it 100% movie accurate in hair and shape? No.

If you are thrilled by the DX and the headsculpt, then you made the right decision for you to buy it. Enjoy. :
