Yet people are having a hard time finding a buyer for their MMS117.

I suspect people are just so used to the old sculpt that they've persuaded themselves wrong is right. If the DX10 head had been the first attempt and MMS117 the 2nd attempt I think people would be seeing all the problems a few of us have always thought were there with MMS117.

I agree. Theres a bunch of figures ive got now, had for a long time and i am used to their faces. I will go and watch their source material and be re-awoken. Its like people are upset that this head doesnt look like the mms... its not meant to be. I actually think im officially behind this figure now. its a potential for my Christmas list. This, DX12 or a statue.

you still would have to through the bag, minigun and bullet band away and get the coomodel variants as they are correct models. if you care for those details of course.
the bag even allows to store the minigun inside as it was in the movie.

Does anyone know if there is a retailer that has the coomodel mini with the bag in stock?...Ive seen a bunch on Ebay but not with the bag..

Not saying DX10 has a perfect headsculpt, but it is an improvement. PERS eyes notwithstanding.

Sorry to say I like the old one better. And I like it better in every way. The colour of the skin on the new one is my biggest problem now I have him in hand. It's too fake tan, orange-like. And the sculpt is soft.
The old one looks mean, and T2-determined, the new one looks a bit 'whatever!'
The body on the new guy is more posable for sure, but seems to lack the stance if the older one.
The guns are all good, and look great.
Don't get me wrong, it's a nice figure. But I feel the old mms is better in every respect. I even prefer the non-leather leathers! May well pop the new guy on eBay.
Will add more thoughts in a bit once I've had a think.

The actual minigun looks like a mix of the two: COO and HT.

Let's have a look...

The actual minigun looks like a mix of the two: COO and HT.

The COO model has some extra stuff hanging below the center piece, also an unnecessary bow-rib. But the barrel separation is nice, and the paintwork is exceptional. This gun just looks more real.

HT is more streamline like the movie version, and the bullet band is the correct colors, but it is less realistic looking, more toyish. Needs some paint details.

In the pics the mms seem taller ?
I agree about the clothes I had bought them already and soon I 've sold them, better on first release...I think the heads are nice on both...

Well... It's a nice figure. But the older one, IMO, is better. I might keep some of the guns from the new set and sell the rest, although I'm feeling to box him back up and pop him on eBay.
And yes, the older one is a tad taller.

Really surprised at that bud. He still looks superior in your pics to me.

If I hadn't just ordered mine I would have taken yours and saved myself a longer wait!!

It's a real in hand thing man, and my pics are shabby!
Don't get me wrong, it's nice. But having them stood here next to each other the older one kicks the new ones butt for me. Even the wife, who dosnt have much interest in my hobby says the new one is not as good and looks like 'Joey Essex'
Although I think that's harsh! The heads good, just the old is better.

I guess I'm glad I'll have both full figures in hand so I decide if I can mix and match, or if I'll have to just go with the full DX10. Would have really liked to combine the strengths of both, though...

They might not, also the arse could be an issue. The newer body is not so bootylicious.
