It looks good and all, but no battle damage...seriously? Not interested. This was really unneeded without a battle damaged head/attachments or battle damaged all together. Oh well.

I am sorry, but I don't know who is this JC Hong people talk so sarcastically about?

Anyways, Kojun should have been directing this, even Yulli herself and have K.A Kim do the work, she's just as good sculptor as anyone there.

That's the only saving grace about this release, Hot Toys still has the Terminator 2 license and have it on their mind.

Other than that, man, what a way to come back. I knew we'd get things like the bandolier and the minigun, but this? And honestly, I used to think it was a good idea for a Terminator figure to have PERS. Not now.

Put it this way, I just assumed DX10 was going to be yet another superhero-type figure or that Joker DX 2.0. I'd become used to the last HT Terminator figure being the T1 and being pushed further and further into the past with not a hint of anything else. I in no way expected DX10 to be a Terminator figure. So when I finally got in here after finding the site down and the first thing I see is DX10 - Terminator 2 Cyberdyne...I was shocked and thrilled. I thought less about '**** its not a BD version' and more 'wow look at that! A new HT Terminator release!' Now, its not as ''new'' as we'd like but still.

Anyway I'm going to type up my top to bottom thesis of what I think of this figure. Pros and cons.

Not to rile anyone up the wrong way, but I can't see how any fan would be excited about that sculpt...especially when you look at Enterbays latest..

You're far from the only one. A lot of people have said it looks plain wierd.

If there is still no X-Men, Green Lantern or Metal Gear Solid figures for this year i'll probably get this, out of all of the figures the last few months this is the one that interests me most, i'd have much preffered a BD version though.

this piece is no less Arnold than the 1st version they did..

The new version looks like Arnold to me....this piece is stellar

I think too many just need something to complain about because of HOT Toys inflated prices.Prices are only going to go higher,thanks to a devalued currency we use.....

I'm pissed about the lack of BD also, BUT since I never bought the first T2 T-800, this will have to do. I held out for this version, but got boned on the damage part.

I totally agree... Its a disgraceful misuse of a DX figure slot. The sculpt is weak by HT standards... Enterbay's BD T-800 seems more impressive and all we've seen is half the head sculpt!

For some reason I'm for the first time annoyed at a HT 2.0 figure, namely because fans have wanted a BD T2 Arnie since 1990!

yep, I'm more inclined to get this as there's nothing else for me on PO right now. i've canceled most of my HT POs but this is Terminator related. and again I don't have a T-800. I have a spare black shirt so the only thing I'd be missing is the rose box

i'm pretty ok with the price. i think it's not bad for a DX especially if you can get it cheaper at a retailer like I will be doing if I decide to get this.

I wonder if the new "flexible" body will finally allow the shotgun on shoulder pose to be achieveable

The board was down for me last night, so I'll share my thoughts now.

First off, the headsculpt doesn't look too bad. I personally think it's the PERS eyes that make it come off as weird. The irises are definitely too dark. If you were to brighten them up, they'd be perfectly fine. It's still a better likeness than Enterbay's 1/4 (I'm not even kidding, I personally can't see Arnold in the EB figure at all; it looks more like some random German dude without the glasses IMHO).

Secondly, I love that they included the Cyberdyne Showdown accessories. I passed on the first T2 Arnie and in all honesty, this how I'd want to display the character. It's my ideal representation of the second film's protagonist. Having that said, I wish this wasn't a DX. The accessory load is ridiculously light and if they only wanted to give us enough goodies to replicate that one scene, the figure should've been a standard release and cost no more than $200. As it stands, it's a DX. Possibly the most half-assed DX in history. Check out the Bruce Lee they did: the thing boasted two headsculpts (both with PERS), two bodies, two sets of clothes, and one of the most elaborate dioramas they've ever manufactured.
A few DX's later and this is what we get? Are they trying to imply that real leather, PERS, and an uninspired attempt at a base makes this thing worth $70 more than the first one?
They should've included BD parts. A bashed-up headsculpt, a shredded arm and leg, and tattered clothing for alternate display. That's all it would've taken and you know what? Adding those things wouldn't even be overboard for a DX! In fact, it's the perfect amount of stuff.

This whole release just feels like a placeholder so that they can make more money by giving us what we want in the future. But if that was their game, they should've at least made this a regular figure. Either that, or a 1/6 DX Police Shootout T-800. Yeah, that character doesn't have too many accessories, but he could compensate with the fact that they haven't done him yet. In a nutshell, the problems with this one are A: there isn't enough stuff and B: it's an incredibly obvious remake. One of these could've been resolved if it was either a regular release or a DX of a more-different Terminator. UGH, WHY IS THIS A DX? DO SOMETHING MORE WITH IT, THEN!

Just wanted to add that the Jack Sparrow DX is on Sideshow's GC Eligibility list. If a figure that perfect managed to make it on there, this one will undoubtedly end up with the same fate.

This sculpt is worse than the first one. I was expecting Hot Toys to announce one soon and sold mine last month. But this is the same thing, with a worst sculpt, accessories you can get cheaper on ebay to make this version, and no second headsculpt. Not worth the money.

Now, if it has a second sculpt with some slight battle damage and a light up eye, it would be an instant buy. As it is, no thanks.

I feel the 89 Bats DX is the lamest DX ever because lack of alot of accessories and HIGH price. Even a reused DX01/02 base! There I said it! This DX is well worth the price tag.

Like I'm sure another negative comment won't help here but why does hot toys insist on giving figures an alternate version that most people unless they buy two of them would never display... for example the T1 has the arm and the eye thingy and this one as the cyberdyne chip that was removed while he was sitting down... boring alternate display options IMO.

Yes, I realize I answered my own question above... buy two!

But still boooooring.
