Yeah I'm still waiting for a lose t-1000 to pop up at the right price:pray: you could just get the head and a 1/6 police outfit:)

Re: Hot Toys - DX10 - Terminator 2 - T-800 Cyberdyne - Official Specs & Pics

Would you agree that the hair looks a lot like the Enterbay figure's hair? Particularly towards the back and in the side view.
yes, i agree that the hair looks like lazy sculptor (who got his money for sculpting movie Schwarzenegger btw) just bought another figure instead of a movie, and his employer said "**** the buyers, they are too stupid to see any difference".
:)
i don't care why EB never watched the movie, bringing their slim, ugly, drunk teen guy with fat *** and lack of shoulders, because i don't collect them. but copying them is what i wrote above.

While I don't agree with your body complaints on the EB figures, yeah I don't like the way HT seems to look at other companies stuff as referance when it would be so easy to just stick on the DVD or use the plentiful screengrabs available on the internet. It seems beyond lazy, I mean how lazy do you have to be not to use the computer you have right in front of you. And if they did indeed have the EB figure in mind when doing the hair on the DX10 were they not aware that the hair is one of the most criticised aspects of that figure (and not just by me)?

I was thinking of trying to snag an old hot toys t-1000 of ebay to go with my arnie.

I would personally try to get one now before th prices on this guy go way up . You can still get it pretty cheap right now . He's a must have if you have the MMS or the DX10 :wave

Now you got me thinking, sir. I just saw 2 of these from different stores last weekend. One's selling a complete mint in box set for $250,while another store is selling a loose (but in very good condition) T1000 sporting the split-headsculpt, the claws from the elevator scene, and bullet holes attached -- as is for $120.

I was only referring to the complaint about him looking too young, not the overall likeness. I don't think its a perfect sculpt but I still see the likeness.

My biggest complaint about the sculpt is the way they seemed to take inspiration for the hair from the very worst aspect of the Enterbay clean T-800 (much better if they could have taken inspiration from the hair on the Enterbays BD T-800) - they gave the back of his head that puffed out look. I also despise the neck and the way it just doesn't work well with the head.

Oh ok, the sculpt is pretty bang on, the hair is ok, yeah its alittle puffy at the back maybe due to the pers hatch but I'm not as annoyed as you about it, though it is noticiable. My only hang up on the hair is the hair line, its just a tad to low at the widows peaks, it should be a little more reseeded. Its also not as sharp as the mms117 ether, I can't believe I'm writing a paragraph on my dolls hair:panic: thanks for that a-dev:lol

Damn, I talk about it all the time. I actually considered hairstyling as a career at one point but chickened out. I cut my own hair, haven't been to a barber in years.

:lol I never concidered a hairstyling career myself but I too cut my own hair, have for years aswell. Mainly cause I'm cheap but have payed the price of that, I've certianly given myself a few butthead haircuts in the past:slap:panic::horror:lol

Nothing to it really is there, for a bloke anyway. Unless you're trying to combine razor-shaved back and sides with a bit of length on top etc etc. I just use a scissors all over and keep cutting till I can't find anything thats too long compared to the rest. Only a professional might notice the ****ups.

And yes, :lol at this conversation and the last few posts.
