Excellent pics Blu, what megapixel is your camera? Mine doesnt take pics anywhere near that good, mine is only 4 mp

To answer your question I have an 8mp camera body. All shots were taken in Manual at 1/50 sec, f/5.6, ISO 200 with varying focal lengths between 12-24mm. I was hand holding a Speedlite off-shoe as well. All shots were processed in Adobe Lightroom.

Hey fellas!

Juz collected the Eagle vs Fellbeast statue!!! The wingspan for the fellbeast is huge!!! Love the eagle!!!

Initially had a hard time to find a proper place to display it, but I found the perfect location for it!

Thanks for the praise pple! My newly bought camera does wonders.

Talking about paint job, I actually had 2 dragons to choose from. One had a "silver wire" exposed at the hand of the ringwraith and the other had some scuff on the belly of the fellbeast. As you can see from the pics, I chose the latter.

Nope, the wings are not detachable.

The fellbeast comes in one huge piece and that could be a good things as there wont be any unsightly joints.

Your Fell Beast tail looks very weird in that pic. Looks bent like an elbow? I don't know. Maybe it's just me.

By the way, did anyone else check to see if the printing on the bottom of the base was done in glow-in-the-dark paint??

Not with the statue itself, with the fact that Sideshow sent only around how of the allotment to Australia and even tho I had an order in at my local store back in February, so did a few others it seems and due to getting only half of the ones they ordered, guess how misses out.... thats right, ME.

So, the local supplier is sold out and as far as I can tell, all local stores are sold out as well (basically they all went on pre-order's, without enough to go around). Hence, half of them that are sitting in USA stores and dealers, belong down here!!!!

And before anyone says, why not just order from SS or a dealer in the USA, I have one word....Postage.

Exactly the same thing happened to me… and none to please about it I was. Good news is I jumped on the Sideshow wait list straight after I found out (about 1 month ago) and it did convert and has now just been shipped, along with the Predator Dio Ex. Shipping was large but no extra for the two pieces…

Along with the allotment issue and after looking at the online Aussie retailer prices, I have a sneaking suspicion most were/are going to take a bath on this piece (even at distributor + delivery cost... remember when this piece was initally up for order the Aussie $ was almost at parity with the US, look at it now ) and bailed before it hurt too much. Can I ask who the retailed was?

Yeah, the dollar issue now really sucks. A couple of months ago I could have maybe got it cheaper, even with the huge postage costs from the US, but now its a whole different matter. Still, I was willing to pay a little more to be able to inspect and pick it up locally, just in case. So much for doing a pre-order 7 months in advance. I should have known something was going on when I saw two online sites list it as sold out, right after initial pics started to appear on forums. But I just thought, "yeah, I thought it was going to be popular, but I'm OK, got it on order a long time ago".

A friend of mine was going to send it back, planning to pick it up at a later time. I'm glad I convinced him to keep the statue, for I think he would have had a hard time finding at the same price in a few months.
