Yeah really. Much of B-More is a slum...no offense as you don't live there nor did you live IN the city. The suburbs are like any other suburb, but B-more CITY is nasty IMO.

As for China Town....are you talking about DC or is there one in B-More too?

There's one in B-Mo as well (though much smaller than DC's) Little Italy is pretty cool with some great restaraunts in BLT.

Yeah, I don't mean to slam the entire city. Like I said inner harbor is relly nice and I am sure there are other cool spots, but as a whole when I think of B-more I think rats and drug dealers. As a whole it's not a very nice city.

DC used to be just as bad if not worse, but has undergone a major face lift over the last 10 years or so. Still some really bad areas of course, but it's cleaned up it's image a lot.

There are certain areas that you can't walk 20 ft without seeing a used crack vile (again the areas that I wouldn't go without a vest)

I remember a year or two ago B-More also had the highest rate of STD's per capita as well.

Come on it can't be that bad in the whole city, all the big cities have areas like that.
I know L.A. and Detriot both do I have seen both first hand.
