I havent had a second chance offer before. If you think their is shill bidding your supposed to contact eBay and let them know at this link:

https://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/questions/how-report-violation.html

You said its easy to tell, can you let us know how you can tell? Sometimes ive had my suspicions, but because they hide other usernames that are bidding, im not sure how you can tell unless its just more of a hunch. But if you feel something isnt right, report it to eBay and they will look into it.

Clues to shill bidding:

1) The guy doing much of the bidding never seems to become high bidder. Also, he always seems to pop up again and again when more people bid on the item, and again, never bids high enough to be high bidder UNLESS it is a reserve auction.

2) The guy doing much of the bidding seems to only bid on this one seller's items. Either the bidder and seller are in cahoors or they're the same person with 2 accounts.

How can you tell what items a particular bidder bids on?

Yeah customs still has it and I definitely let ebay know. This guy told me he's never had to deal with custom fees before; however looking at this guys past purchases I really don't think he has ever bought an item the size and price of a PF that was shipped from overseas. Most of his items consist of $5.00 T-shirts and $3.00 keychains that were shipped within his own country and neighboring European countries, but nothing ever overseas from the US.

It's called Feedback Extortion and is a violation of EbaY's user agreement. Definitely report him before going any further.

But what happens if people don't pay immediately? I've won a few auctions where they require immediate payment, and always did, so I don't know what happens if you don't.

Also, I've been watching a few items recently and am really getting tired of sellers using other accounts to increase the bid. Of course I'd like to win the auction for the lowest possible price, so it makes me sick that people do this without any afterthought. I would never do this to up the price on things that I sell - sure, I'm upset if I don't get what I'm looking for, but at least I'm not cheating someone. I also feel bad if someone wins one of my items and pays a lot more than I actually paid. I know, it's weird.

nothing happens to buyers on ebay, everything happens to sellers--------evil bay just sucks-------monkeys could run a company better the the morons running now-----
as a buyer that does not pay gets a non payer strike, which really means nothing----------

.

You can't use "buy it now" if they require immediate payment without paying. It takes you right to checkout and your auction is not complete until your payment is complete.

How about eBay payers not leaving feedback! I've had that happen to me in over a dozen transactions even after I've left them feedback.:slap

This is why, when I sell, I only leave positive feedback after I receive it. Too many clowns out there who don't leave feedback.

I'm purely a buyer on Ebay (seller here lol) but whenever I purchase an item I never get feedback, buyer feedback should be left asap after payment is sent, i feel its used as ammunition nowadays for when on the off chance I were to leave negative then they can blast me with a negative ( i have never left negative, nor recieved) just sayin

I actually ask them kindly to leave feedback and some of them still don't. As a buyer I always give fb but as a seller I never give fb before I got mine.
