Not sure if you are aware where I am located, and how many collectors here do/will own it. That will explain a lot about other things as well...

I know where you are that's why I mentioned the high costs of delivery...But since you said you had the finances in line and the helmet on order, may as well get it in hand yourself before you decide to keep or not:

then if you decide to not keep it, you can send it back, if the seller allows returns or sell it (at no profit if you feel strongly about it)

But if whoever you ordered from someone who doesn't accept returns and you don't ever sell your stuff, then...yeah it's just a pickle...

I'm pushing for you to see it firsthand (however possible that may be) because I honestly felt differently about mine when I received it -- I was even MORE excited about it...and I was glad I ordered both....

The last thing i got from them was the dewback & sandtrooper but was a while ago, there was no problems. I have only paid the $180 deposit but still dont want to loose that.

Sorry dude. I had no idea they'd end up being this unreasonable. I contacted Consumer Affairs and they were flabbergasted at their customer service standards.

I've actually just opened a dispute with them because they wont give me back my money AND are expecting me to still fulfill the final payment or they'll blacklist me from ordering again...

So, if you cancel and forfeit your deposit, they still blacklist you even though they made money off our deposits for over 18 months! WTF???

They chose the wrong person to try and bully.

word of caution to those who now have this, when i was picking mine up, i had to choose from 3 different units. one of which got damaged easily when we were trying to align the dome / magnet properly. i wouldn't say paint scratches but man, that small movement literally carved the material just between the lens area

Yeah, I did.

I ordered it from CF in 2010. I since moved to Geelong (which is where PC is located) and have been trying to negotiate with CF (regarding my original deposit) since April last year.

They have been painful to deal with and thus I decided to take the action I did.

Can you please keep me informed of any developments with this my order is with CF too......i'm so over the this helmet and stressing over it...just scored a beautiful Fibreglass custom 1:1 from another licence for less then the deposit on this....this whole EFX thing has soured my collecting experience

Couldn't agree more.

I love the helmet (and no doubt the Tie when it finally hits), but regardless of how amazing the product is, doesn't mean the experience has been worth the wait.

I just wish they would sort out manufacturing issues before announcing anything.

6 months between pre-order and delivery = GREAT.
1 year = TOLERABLE.
1 year plus = TOTALLY UNDERWHELMING and drains all the fun out of it.
3 1/2 years (the Tie Fighter) = BEYOND A JOKE.
