Personally, I'm getting both... but the screen accurate will be the one encased and secured by laser security system.

IrishJedi should change his name to RichJedi. :lol

I'd only be rich if I saved all my money and stopped buying stuff. :lol But that's boring.

That said, thank God I just use expendable income on my hobbies. I can only imagine the hole of debt I'd be in if I used credit cards like the old days. :google

Yep. I played that game once. Never again. If I don't pay straight from available funds in my debit or Paypal account I don't buy it. Period.

NO collectible is worth that knot in your stomach that comes from purchasing something you can't afford.

I want the screen-accurate version, but I have serious doubts about the factory painters' ability to replicate the paint master. Unfortunately, the lower edition size of the hand-painted version will force most of us into a blind-buy with a non-refundable deposit to boot. I don't want to end up with a sloppily painted $1000 helmet that falls short of the prototype, so I may end up with the idealized version just to be safe (unless we can see a production sample before ordering, which is unlikely).

i feel confident that e-fx won't let us down with the screen actual paint job.

What?
They smelled like fresh paint at Comic Con! Those things haven't dried yet?!
It can take several weeks for paint to fully cure.

It's true though, they were pungent. Probably because they were boxed up between shows.
That's exactly what happened. After SDCC, they were packaged and shipped straight to the holding area for CV.

Well said. I always thought that the actual Vader reveal in the movie was a letdown, even as a kid.

I did as well... loved the films and I love my Vader 1:1 bust, but the Vader reveal in the film (was 11 at the time) was a let down to me.. he looked like Humpty Dumpty... or that's what my 13 year old brother and I thought..:)

that was the point.

Good update from eFX, a December preorder is a little soon. But I'm still gonna go for it regardless.

I don't have a damn thing on PO right now, so perfect for me:yess: Besides Efx, any other good places that will carry these and have good prices? I was thinking maybe Redford films?
