This sucks! I was looking forward to the Elder LSB... here is my response:

"Mr. Mendoza,

I am disappointed by the news of course, but if we were going to receive an inferior product after spending close to $400 for the Elder bust I can understand why you guys did this. But.. why not delay the bust until those production difficulties are fixed? The Elder LSB was a highly anticipated one and I was looking forward to adding it to my Predator and Alien LSB collection. I hope this production problem does not interfere with the P1 Masked predator LSB or any upcoming Alien LSBs. I along with many other collectors love the LSB line and I hope this is not the beginning of the end for this line. Man.. I loved that Elder bust and I'm not happy that it wont be in my collection.

Sincerely,
Nick Murray"

It least they realized the production piece wouldnt come close to the proto and they decided to cancel as opposed to releasing a horibble product and experiencing the backlash after release.

They have slowly started killing him, not a trace will remain soon, what a shame...

Sheesh... Sideshow can't win either way... Release it with issues? Get flogged! Cancel it and give everyone $20 towards another order? Get flogged! :dunno

... Send out crappy LSBs with no replacements available after a week.
Try to palm people off with a small credit to keep the P.O.S. Get flogged! :D

Maybe try putting out a product you wouldn't be embarrassed to sell face to face. I sure would be seeing some of this stuff in hand. Maybe it is time to spend a few extra bucks and get some local US workers who actually care about the finished product.

It's the in thing to do

Oh, I know... :lol

You're a tough one to figure out sometimes Thrifty ;)

I ride the middle ground... While they do deserve a big FU!! They also do a lot of things right and that they don't have to... I'm well aware of the poop they put out but I'm not fond of the ride on the bandwagon... :lecture

Yes, they do have to get things right when we're paying them hundreds of dollars and they've been in this business for over a decade.

You actually think if this was made by mericans it would come out any better? As if the magic of merician hands mass producing this would be the same as lucky charms sprinkled on poop... :dunno

Or or I guess you could change it from "a few extra bucks" to double or triple the price! Now would you have bought this for $1200?
