Well, our midnight release is in 2 1/2 hours...and I'm so tired...I may not make it. :lol I drove by Game Stop earlier and there were people camping out 7 hours early. I was like WTF?! If you pre-ordered your game, they are going to have a copy for you...whey the hell the need to camp out for 7 hours? :dunno

Because it is fun to them. :lecture:lol

I prefer to walk in and out.

Nerds. Now where is my Hot Toys Superman? :rotfl

Is this game fun? I bought the elder scrolls game IV I think. Didn't play much of it. Is this one mmo or what? I don't understand the gameplay.

It's not an mmo. It's an open world rpg with real time first person (or third) combat and a ridiculously deep world. You can go anywhere, do anything. It's slow paced, but in a good way. Fun is a very subjective term. Ill say this. I don't play RPGs, but I play Bethesda's games. There's something very special about them that no other games have and once you get sucked in, you'll find a very rewarding and unique experience.

That's a great description of it for him snappahead! I totally agree with you! I got so deep into Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion! Incredible experience! I traded in a lot of my favorite games this week to be able to get Skyrim later today. I'm really looking forward to diving into it this weekend! :)

I also agree that Bethesda Studios is making some of the BEST games ever made! :yess:

looks like the PC version is pretty bad with several reports of various issues...bah...I haven't turned on my PS3 in over a year...really prefer being up close and personal with my PC.

Flawless for me.

Just make sure you install from disc and not steam.

Played this side by side with 360 and the PC version DESTROYS the 360 version graphically.

Taking a nap then back at it.

It can be pretty fun when the team dynamic is flowing and the dedicated servers are up but man sometimes...

:exactly: :goodpost:

And yeah I was kidding, I know how much you were looking forward to Skyrim.

I haven't picked Skyrim up yet but I may go at lunch.

Played this for a couple hours last night. The attack/fighting controls feel a little whacky in 3rd person. Hopefully it's something I'll get used to as I really prefer to play 3rd person over 1st. Other than that, the visuals are quiet stunning. I actually made it where I needed to go without getting lost...but I'm sticking close to the trails for now and not wandering off until I get more skillful.

I ended up picking my guy to be an Imperial and plan on using both combat and magic. Been picking up a lot of stuff along the way...flowers, mushrooms, different weapons, food, wine, even a couple spider eggs. Don't know why I have them...but I figured they may come in handy at some point. I just hope it's not super long before I can have a place to store all my stuff that I don't need to carry around with me.

Picked mine up this morning from Target because they were offering a $5.00 gift card. Figured I didn't need that World Map. As i was leaving I bought some Toilet Paper with the gift card and to my surprise it was a $10.00 gift card. Then when i got home and opened up the game I discovered that it had the fold out Map Game Stop and Best Buy were advertising as a bonus. :clap

At Toys R Us - Good Deal today starting at 3PM till Saturday (1PM) you get a $20 dollar gift card for any Playstation 3 or Xbox 360 game $59.99 or over . I think you also get a free toy jeep also.
