Sorry Jen. I meant it as a total rhetorical comment/joke. Im back for only a few posts and look at what I started.


It sux America is declining. On the upside, everywhere is declining... have you seen the middle east lately. Everyone declining, except China that is.

Give China time, their workers are starting to complain about wages, etc. and other things are going on. Not that there will be an upheavel like in the Middle East, but China is going to have to change how they're doing things too.

I say ban all lobbyists. That's a start here.

I agree with that to a point, but when you have a choice between manure and ____, there isn't much you can do about it. We need a strong third party to shake things up, and I don't mean the tea party.

I absolutely agree with you on where people are getting thier opinions. It's sad that people take some of these news entertainers so seriously.

Won't matter. Same advisors, same political system. You can put the late Mr. Rogers in as president and the results will be the same. Look how quickly anti war Obama has gone from pulling out of Iraq to thrusting us in multiple wars all over the globe. To be honest I don't blame him. It's not him. It's the global elite and advisors and political system as a whole that makes the decisions. The president is just the puppet.

The United States can't continue with its current financial system or the country will eventually fall into a major economic crisis and no budget cuts or buy outs will help us. We need a fundamental change at how we run this country. As for the upheaval in the Middle East, it's about time. I'm glad it's taking place. I just hope they can keep the religious fundamentalist away from the new regimes. But as long as Saudi Arabia and Iran still have their current leadership, the effects of the Middle East revolution won't be as great. Those two powerhouses need to become secular!

American citizens need to start paying more attention at the state and county levels, demand a push for a return to constitutional state sovereignty and a push away from the bloated Fed Gov and it's run-away, all-controlling powers. The Fed Gov is going down and they can't save themselves from themselves because they are under the impression that the American Taxpayer will always be there, now and in the future, to pay for their largess. It will be up to the states to shed the Fed, refuse money from them and refuse money to them. A revolution, be it civil or martial, is on the horizon. Anyone not seeing the signs is either in denial or simply not paying attention. Look for additional federal gun ban legislations in the future. So buy them cheap and stack 'em deep, boys (and girls)...

They can foretell the unsustainability of using incandescent light bulbs, but can't understand it when applied to borrowing $6 Billion a day... Truly boggles the mind.

I agree with most of what you said except for the last sentence. Puppet? No, but pulled from all directions? Yes.
Puppets don't piss off the people that are pulling their strings. Obama has managed to piss off both democrats and republicans alike. He is one of the few presidents that hears all sides of the story before making decisions. If both parties have problems with Obama, he is doing something right.

Guys,
What the guy is saying in his video about the problems that America is facing are very true. It is not fiction. Is he trying to sell something? Yes, but don't let that stop you from listening to what he has to say about the possible crisis we could face. America's got some serious problems that he succinctly points out. And if we just ignore these problems that he is mentioning, we are in for a lot of pain and suffering. Now whether or not some of the doom and gloom senarios he mentions will happen in the next 12 months,or if they'll ever happen at all, remains to be seen. But the serious issues we face in America that are mentioned in his video cannot be denied.

Well, believe it or not a lot of peeps here are informed as we have real lives outside this forum so many know what is happening, not just in America but around the world so 'raising awerness' is not really necessary.

...and just an FYI that Political threads get locked on this Forum so please take Jen's advice and not turn this into one, it's borderline as it is.

Just want to make sure I'm not over-stepping any bounds with my posts and I just want to make clear that I'm not hear to promote the guys product. I just saw the guys video and thought it would be interesting conversation as many scary facts were brought up in his video. I just want to make sure everything is kosher and hope that I'm not breaking any rules with this thread, as adoptascot has closed me down a great many times. Just let me know if I'm crossing any boundaries or anything like that and I'll comply. don't want to offend or anger anyone, especially the Demi Gods of this forum.
