Iv got a feeling you will get him. Barca have gone from saying he is not for sale to its up to the player.
I think he will decide to join. Barca may end up taking the cash and wasting it all on David Luiz lol
Barca have made an official announcement from their director during their Israeli/Palestinian tour that Fabregas has chosen not to move to Manchester United and that the club have conveyed to Manchester United that further bids for the player will not be accepted anymore.

Barca are however on the hunt for a Centre Back.

Hopefully United will actually accept that and move on this time.

I just have a feeling that Fellaini is the backup plan :(

I really like Fellaini but if I'm honest I don't think he's what UTD really need right now. I'm surprised there not looked at Eriksen

This guy?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christian_Eriksen

He sounds like a good prospect but more than any other time in their recent history they need players who can fully deliver straight away, not in a couple of years time....Moyes won't get the 4 years Fergie got without a trophy.

Fabregas would have made sense for that reason, but I don't believe there was ever any realistic chance of getting him and it came across to me like United were just making a show of going for a big name.

He was never the bit part player that our tabloids tried to suggest and when you look at his connections with the city as well as the club there was no way he was likely to leave all that behind unless Barcelona stated they didn't want him any longer.

United have essentially been pissing in the wind for the last few weeks and now they're 6 days from the first proper pre-season game with no notable additions other than Fergie's last signing ( Zaha ).

Before that there's Rio Ferdinand's testimonial which will see Usain Bolt make his United debut. If he can cross the ball Moyes should sign him up as they badly need a winger with pace :lol

EDIT
Rio has Tweeted that there will be some "cool suprises" at his testimonial.

A half-time boxing match in the centre circle between his brother and John Terry perhaps?

:lol

I agree, United needs players that can stand out straight away like Van Persie or Michu for Swansea. I'm thinking kevin mirallas, solid all around player and did well at Everton last season.

Yes Eriksen is a brilliant player & will make a big difference to Utd straight away. He's only 21 but already an experienced 1st team player for club & country for years now. Way ahead of most players his age believe me if Utd bought him he would quickly become a fan favourite.

On a side note I think Brendan Rogers was a bit harsh to slam Arsenal & accuse them of unsettling there player. If it wasn't for Liverpool coming out & telling everyone that Arsenal had bided for Suarez everyone would still be in the dark about the bid. Arsenal like to keep there transfer business as quiet a possible. Not that they do much of it :lol

OK, I'm convinced.

Whether Moyes knows any more than me about him is open to debate.

The one signing that he's made so far appears to be going out on loan,
https://www1.skysports.com/football...-uniteds-guillermo-varela-could-get-loan-move

WTF is the point of signing someone from South America only to send him straight back there?

Surely if there were plans to eventually make him part of the first team squad he'd be better off being loaned to another English club in order to get used to the style of football.

Liverpool are accusing another club of lacking class?

:rotfl

EDIT,
Ronaldo continues to feed the speculation on his future,
https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/f...ano-Ronaldo-hints-at-Manchester-United-future

Madrid, meanwhile continue to say he's either on the verge of signing a new deal or has already signed one.

But they've been saying that for weeks.

United apparently turn down a second Chelsea bid for Shrek,

When we sell Bale, id like us to sign Eriksen. Very good value for money and an exciting prospect.
Saldado officially signed today. Very good striker and exactly what we need although we need more.
some good players still out there u for grabs. Hulk should be gettable but expensive.
I like Osvaldo at Roma. Very capable although a bit of a hot head.

Mirallas is very good. Just needs to work on his fitness but a great player.

Mirallas was another Arsenal target we failed to capture. He turned us down in favour of Everton. No disresect to Everton, but I think that says everything you need to know!

Eriksen was vaunted to be a special player 2/3 years back - now Id say hes pretty established to be one (like Mario Gotze). He was a hot prospect and he was already under trial at Barcelona too and there were murmurs of him being incorporated into their youth team as the next Michael Laudrup. However the best thing happened to him with Ajax took him.

He has developed a lot since then. However he is one of the youngest players I have seen who has so many caps for his country, that too as a starter. Sadly he was disappointing in the Euros where I hoped he would shine. A lot was expected of him back home, which I know because I was in Denmark during the start of the Euros and he was on every fans lips literally.

That is the funniest thing I've seen in a long time.

"How many countries are in this country? Four."

:rotfl:rotfl

"No playoffs? My job is already easier!"

:lol

Rooney is allegedly injured again,
https://www1.skysports.com/football...ster-uniteds-sweden-trip-with-shoulder-injury

The only thing wrong with Rooney's shoulder is the chip he developed when RVP overtook him as the main striker.

I expect all his recent fitness issues to magically vanish in time for the medical at Chelsea.

Utd won't sell to Chelsea & I just can't see Liverpool selling to Arsenal either. I hope both have backup plans, well saying that Chelsea don't really need Rooney do they
