I have seen him play and I am a huge fan of Bale. What I don't understand the reported 100 million dollar transfer fee. To be honest that sum is probably going to collapse the Spanish money crisis. Plus idk where he will fit in at madrid. Ancelottis option is probably putting cr in the rw spot and bale on lw but that would leave Di Maria on the bench who is a top class player. Apart the wings I don't think madrid is going to 100+ for a full back.

30m will probably get you a signed shin pad.
In todays current climate when you consider the player, his age, ability, development and also the brand, he is worth alot more than 30m.
I think 60/70m is more realistic but Real want our best player and levy will demand top money. We dont really have to sell where as Real need to deliver a big name especially now Barca nabbed Neymar.

Its roumoured to be around 19m difference of opinion so i think he will leave at around the 88 to 90m mark.

Crazy money but will take that :)

Also regarding Real and players positions, they dont really buy players to build a team, more of a team of individuals. When they signed Beckham, he was played out of position so many times and even played as a holding midfielder.

They will buy Bale and think about where to play him later.

Fabregas says he's staying put,

At the height of the media BS about Ronaldo returning to United a few months ago it was claimed that he would unveiled today and play in Rio's testimonial tomorrow.

In reality Ronaldo has just scored twice for Real in a friendly against Chelsea in America and United continue to lie about Rooney's injury and the plans for new signings :gah:

I can't watch United play this season, it'll break my heart. I can feel that 7-0 smashing my Mourinhos Chelsea in Week 3. But if its enough to wake Moyes up then by all means.

I think Moyes is awake, he's just way, way out of his depth.

Instead of starting with a positive, decisive approach he's dithered and lied his way through the first month or so of his tenure and made the club look like a bunch of amateurs.

Here we are just over week away from the new season, with virtually all of the other title contenders having done their business nice and early and Moyes is still buggering about doing a whole lot of nothing.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez questions Gareth Bale's price tag

https://www1.skysports.com/football...entino-perez-questions-gareth-bales-price-tag

Maybe Real should of thought of that before trying to tap him up all season. Great news for Spurs though but I'm sure we haven't heard the last of it. Spurs are looking strong, especially with there new signings this window

Arsenal sell Gervinho. It's good there getting rid of all the dead wood but it's getting really worrying that there still not brought anyone in. The squad was thin as it was last season & there definitely not going to get Suarez IMO & there not being linked with any other quality players other than **** like this :slap

I read that earlier. Its not the last of it. Makes me think they have not bid anything at all so far.
Would be funny if perez pulled the plug after all the players pretty much welcoming him.

If Perez has gone public complaining about Bale's price it could mean two things, which is usually the case with Real's transfers

1. He is putting pressure on the agents to complete the deal and also Bale to somehow pressure Spurs to lower their asking

2. The Deal isnt happening and he is preparing the board and the supporters who were hyped up that Bale is coming and in this way if it doesnt work out itll be justified.

How do I know? Because Ive seen Real handle transfers like this for a decade.
1. Hype a player amongst supporters
2. Get their ex players and current players out publicly praising him saying he was 'born to play for Real'
3. This makes the agents of a player's mouth water as a transfer to Real means big money for him and a larger group of contacts
4. He convinces a move to Real is the best thing for the player
5. Real keep the media appearances up and now say the player has said he would love to play for them/is unsettled
6. Player starts acting pricey and complaining for a move
7. Player's club feels selling player to Real means they can profit from the money and also they could do with it and less drama from their player
8. Player sold at a record price, and unveiled at The Bernabeau

Henry "Liverpool won't sell Suarez to Arsenal at any price"

But I think everyone pretty much knew that was going to happen if were honest.

Another Arsenal target (Bernard) slips threw there fingers as he signs for Shakhtar Donetsk. What another terrible transfer window being an Arsenal supporter. There not going to buy anyone of quality are they :monkey2

Flamini's training with them currently!! :rolleyes2

Well actually I think he'd be fine to add squad depth but other than that Sanogo is the MAIN MAN!! :monkey1

Arsene and the board deserve everything that's coming this year, and it's definitely coming. I predict a fan revolt this season. I think they have been patient enough and this is the final straw.

American Football Coach replaces AVB at Tottenham....great parody between American/English "football"
