:lol Wow... Nothing like overpaying.

Decent, young English players usually cost more.

Ferdinand is probably only a couple more injuries from retirement and who knows how long Vidic can maintain his form for so the signings of Smalling and Jones make sense because the time to build for the future is now.

Decent, young English players ALWAYS cost more... Still, when they live up to their potential their value soars all the higher.

And I'm not knocking the overall move... I never find fault in adding to the back line. We're all so polarized by attacking players that it seems only the splashy moves make the real headlines now.

There's nothing wrong with adding promising players but that is pretty over priced imo.
Blackburn must be rubbing there hands.
Lets just hope he doesnt fall in the djembe djembe, carrick and anderson mould

Ashley Young completed his move today and David de Gea is expected to sign at the beginning of July.

Still no sign of a central midfield signing though which is a concern.

O'Shea & Brown to Sunderland = YAY!

Berbaflop plus cash possibly being offered to Arsenal for Nasri = Wenger's gonna be pissed!

That prob won't happen as we're linked to Benzima for 27million. Nasri will go to city though and Cesc to Barca.

Possible additions to the Arsenal this summer: Cahill, Samba, Mata, Benzima and Gervinho. Buh Bye to Nasri, Cesc, Clichy, Bendtner, and Alumnia.

That would make for a good summer.

Arsenal have apparently told United they want a minimum of £25 million as their initial bid was £20 million....Berbaflop should still be worth more than £5 million.

I'd laugh at anyone paying more than 5 million for him.

If Arsenal didn't want him one of the wannabe top 4 clubs would probably be willing to pay out for him......Spuds could have him back and United could throw in Carrick as a freebie :lol

United officials will be in Milan on Wednesday to discuss a possible deal for Wesley Sneijder.....it would seem the Glazers have got the cash from somewhere to fund all the recent signings so I hope they've enough left to get Sneijder.

As a player he was barely heard of in terms of interviews but now he's retired Paul Scholes has been giving his thoughts on several different topics including,

Arsenal FC,
https://www.ibtimes.com/articles/17...as-nasri-clichy-chelsea-wenger-ferguson-t.htm

The England national team's status,

The man speaks a lot of sense, especially regarding the England team and the unrealistic expectations of the fans.

Fergie has said there's going to be no more signings before the start of the season :slap

In 6 days time they play a friendly at home against Barcelona. Hopefully another lesson will be taught that'll wake him up to the fact that the midfield is lightweight.
