Love this shot. Congrats mate. :clap

LOL at the guy in the video...dude needs to chill out, he's...just a tad....uptight. I've seen his type at the LCS...always moving his lips when he stands there reading the books for free. :lol

He's what we call a diamond maker....someone who is so uptight you could put a piece of coal up his ass & 15 minutes later he'd crap out a diamond. :cuckoo:

There is absolutely no issue with the space between cowl and body on my Bats. None.

Can you elaborate? Is it a non-issue because the shoulders can be posed higher?

I see a space between the cowl and suit in all of your pics:

More info would be appreciated.

Their 1/6th bodies could and even the 1:4 bodies could albiet slightly, so I dont see why this one cant be

Hope your right. Hopefully Rory or someone else who has this in-hand can confirm this.

It should hide it, yeah, still shouldn't have to do that though.

Keaton is the same way. OC is the same way. We don't want the cowl to meet the suit too aggressively because it would make the head pop off all the time. As long as we can pose the shoulders we're golden.

Any comments regarding the clips, just ignore. Take the magnets out and you can position them anywhere you want.

Excellent. That's what I had hoped. :)

The body? No issues with mine at all, very very solid, that's not to say that there could be issues with others however.

So it sounds like that's indeed the first QC issue to be concerned with...

Mags:
From looking at the threads for Rambo & T-800 & the pics, AND assuming the bodies are probably similar, it doesnt look like the shoulder joints move up & down...and if they do, it's not by much.

I certainly wouldn't consider that a problematic gap. It's sitting here infront if me and looks like it couldn't actually go any lower, but that's pretty subjective I guess.
I also think the thickness of the cowl edge is causing a shadow which you are picking up on. There is no real 'gap' at the front. That dark line is the edge of the cowl. But the thickness of the cowl edge is too thick compared with the movie.

He starts off with a constructive review then midway bursts into a _____fit rant like a spoiled child.:cuckoo:

after checking other threads and seeing fuss made over this... I just don't get the hype. Hot Toys for me... those who like it by all means enjoy, just not my tastes.

The sides/crotch and neck of the suit have easy access.
It's not one piece. The only thing I put in was a cod piece filler.
The only thing I took off were the external magnets.

Are there still magnets under the suit/under the rubber? And you can move those around for different clip placements?

I dont need to do any mods to lower the belt.

Well, know you wouldn't with it as high as you have it. :lol :peace

I dont think it can be lowered, unless I take off the belt's lock (which I havent figured out how to).

Yeah, do that. :lecture

Btw on the clips, theres actually 2 piece of magnets; making it 4 in total. I guess it's a spare or something. :lol

I have the impression that the cape is supposed to be sandwiched between magnets, but that the ones in the clips are enough to hold the cape to the magnets under the rubber.

Some of these reviews are so confusing! How do you not know if a belt is dicast metal or plastic? :dunno:slap

Yeah, waiting for one of the several people that have this in-hand to comment on that. :impatient:

So badass. Congrats man.

Also, your clip positioning is stellar. Looks like you got them up over the cowl a little. Very nice. :clap

But belt needs to be lower

:lol :lecture

Yeah, i could be wrong but I don't think you can get it this low ("The Maglor Certified Lower Belt Position"TM) without modding it slightly. Well at least I had to. Jesus, I actually forgot there was a Wayne head in the box until I saw that pic...
:panic:

"The Maglor Certified Lower Belt Position"TM. I like that. :lol

If you look at the comparsion pics a few pages back, even the movie suit cowl doesn't sit very flush on the body.

But that's a muscle body. Is that the same body they used for this? Again, need confirmation from those who have him in-hand.

Well, for me it is a problematic gap.

Are you saying that the shoulders to not articulate up and down? If so, I may try and get some foam or cotton under the rubber to lift the suit to meet the cowl a little better.

Thanks, Mag. I'm using the TDK back scene stills to pose, and add stuffs to his belt.

You are right, belt should hit on his fourth bottom abs, while mine is on the third row.

I will lower it, once rory posted up the tutorials :rock

For anyone that ordered from timcent, how long did it take after payment for him to ship it out?
