I have no loyalty to any brand, if it's HT, EB, or custom, doesn't matter as long as the end result is great. Believe me, this figure is beyond great...it's a masterpiece.

:goodpost::clap

True this. And it goes beyond toys/figures, too. Sometimes "brand loyalty" can make us miss out on some good stuff.

The delays, the teasers, and then the QC issues from his other products, on top of his arrogant attitude, kind of led me to lose interest, and, when I saw all of the other stuff, I just figured, "who needs it, anyway?"

Heh, you go on like Hot Toys doesn't do teasers, or delays or has QC problems. Movies don't do teasers either.

I always keep reading this on IMDb. Some people moan when films don't get teasers, advertising, call it what you will, still serves the same purpose. It's advertising. Sparking interest. Creating awareness.
Then there's some others who detest teasers and endless trailers.

I've always noticed it's hard for some people to just sit back, let it unfold and just watch.

Seeing as Hot Toys has nth number of times since 1/6 to now even 1/4, to always completely butcher the cowl,
And people pleading in their comments to get it close and Hot Toys completely disregarding their fans...who do you think is a bigger dbag?

No offense man, but I was actually about to post if the other reason is hot toys. Some people feel feel more particular towards a brand theyre more familiar with. In Essence, it's not on purpose but you have become an accidental fanboy of the brand and are now using an excuse not to buy something you're not too familiar with.

I honestly don't buy the bill is a dbag excuse.
If you prefer the other costume or if it's financial, those are valid points.

But to say you're ******** cause of some guy's fB comments, it's absurd.
Was the comment directed at you? Why take it personally.

None taken, and I think that Bill *might* just be a bit of a scapegoat. My biggest issues are QC-wise. After hearing the horror stories in the MIB thread, and, on top of that, the Psuedo-shady business practice of putting this thing up for order before 3 months before it ships (when the window for Paypal claims ends in 30 days time).

I think it's bad form to fall into name calling. A lot of people can make their point in blogs or rants whatever platform they use to get their say.

Or it's just another Youtube channel where lots of people sign up to call everyone every name under the sun.

The QC issues are valid points to be cautious man.
I had excellent service from ebay's Timcent.
The biggest reason I ordered from him is that the first batches seem to get great QC.

I was worried, if this gets popular, the other batches may be rushed therefore maybe losing a bit on QC.
So I took the plunge and paid a little bit more for peace of mind.
Its a hard decision, if you dont mind paying a bit more, I would go with Timcent, but that's $80 more.

At the same token, you save more money by ordering from EB since its almost september anyway and they're already shipping some early already.
But seeing as even the people who ordered from EB has great trouble free figures, maybe EB is not bad choice to order.

:lol, no, thank goodness so far the QC with this figure has been great.
I think one of the reasons batfan was also cautious was the MIB fiasco.
I didnt really keep up with it much but I believe some of the issues may have been sporadic and in batches.
So some batches were great, problem free, then next shipment of batches have issues.

In my case, since this is soo expensive, for peace of mind, I didnt want to take a chance for that happening to this figure also, so since the first batches from timcent has been problem free, I went ahead and bought from that batch.
Not saying the other batches may be messed up like MIB, but I did it for peace of mind.
I think lots of TLC went into this figure so it should be find whether people buy it from Timcent or EB.
I will say though that Timcent's service was worth it also cause they were spectacular with their service, communication, packing, and shipping, so for me personally, even if it was more, it was worth it.

some times QC arise later after a while!!! like the oily abs then what???

I think there is inherent risk involved with collecting as it is in relationships...... it is what it is :(

That cowl sculpt really is fantastic. I may have to pick this one up at some point if HT never makes a 1/4 BB suit or it isn't as good.

Someone mentioned that HT might make this in the future but can anyone name a character/figure that HT & EB have made at the SAME scale???

I can see Batfan's point, you guys should go easy on him. I don't think he's being stupid or foolish.

He doesn't want to give Weibo Bill money because he thinks he's a ***** and doesn't want him bragging about more Ferrari's or whatever crap he spews. I can respect that.

This is a fantastic figure but let's be honest, there's always something better around the corner. I remember when Voorhees, Snake, Maulfan, Evilface and all of us were ecstatic about the MMS 67 Original Costume. That wow factor, the cape mods, "best Batman figure ever" feelings, posting great pics and discussions etc. It's easy to get sucked in. I can't tell you how many times I've wavered over this one. I've gotten pretty close to ordering it.

Batfan is probably right, by the time he'd order, Hot Toys would probably be teasing a new Begins suit Batman, that's how it works. There's always something else and then something else, then something else, then something else. Collectibles become obsolete, space gets taken up and $$$ gets spent.

As far as company loyalty goes, I have known. I will say, while this figure is superb and the best Bale Batman figure so far, Hot Toys has impressed me more in the last 7 years then Enterbay ever has. Hot Toys is starting to slip now, sure, but they have way more on their plate and are juggling much more than Enterbay.

When this is over I think me and you should get an apartment together.

If you thought this about everything that came along, well you'd never end up buying collectables.

Woah, woah, woah, calm down there Mr. LeBeau. I didn't say that's my reason, just that I can see where batfan is coming from. Chill. I'm sure there's more to it than just "Bill's ego" for Batfan, like not wanting to support Enterbay or quality control worries. Then again I'm not batfan, so I don't know. I just said I can see where he's coming from with the decision he's ultimately making. I'll give him credit for sticking to his guns, especially with all these fantastic pictures of the figure (Maglor's are particularly great by the way).

Maybe he does give a **** what Bill says, what's childish about not wanting to buy something from a company you don't support? There's always been this "anti-Enterbay" sentiment on these boards. From their quality control to their customer support. Bill is like the face of that. He's the face of Enterbay and he comments on community boards.

I think Howard Chan is the owner of Hot Toys but we don't see him talking **** on facebook or some of the crap that I guess bothered batfan. I just said I can see where he's coming from, not, "OH, I AGREE BRO". I could see why batfan wouldn't want to give Enterbay any of his dough.

:lol

I don't think that was batfan's original point. He was excited for this as much as any one here, he certainly followed it's progress and news. He just got sick of it. He doesn't like Bill, and he doesn't want to support the company even if they happen to make the best Batman figure ever. That's all.
