Just got this guy tonight. Honestly, I'm not as impressed as I hoped I would be with him in-hand. He looks great, no doubt. And the paint apps on the head/mouths are top notch. He's also got every accessory you could want from this guy.

But, quality wise, it doesn't feel HT-level to me. The plastic feels cheaper and the rubberish material also feels a bit cheaper (though I'm OK with that if it is more durable). Also, my figure had a number of issues right out the box. One of the magnets on a cape clip was unglued, and one of his belt accessories seems to be missing the magnet altogether. The belt is apparently coming apart in one spot, again apparently due to the shoddy glue.

Regarding design, the "relaxed" hands are more like Superman flight hands than realistic relaxed hands. Seems like the legs aren't connected on a ball joint since I can't get them to move laterally, but maybe they are just tight (I don't recall how the body is designed).

So, my first impression is that figure is a mixed bag.

Regarding the mouth pieces, these also have magnets in them and are pretty easy to swap out because of that. I don't remember reading that in the earlier batches, so I wonder if this is a new feature, or if I just missed the discussion. One of the pieces the mouth magnet connects to also was loose on this guy, by the way. Surely seems like EB needs to work on glue and packaging issues that would make things come loose in transit.

Just got mine in today and I am not too impressed either. The head sculpt is pretty good, but there are too many QC issues, paint on the cowls has too many blemishes, some bad mold cutting too (rubber hanging off, and taking the finish off part of the cowl if you try to remove it).

I have recently bought a few enterbay products but have never owned any before a month ago, the scarface, batman, and joker are my first ones and the QC just sucks on them all. Legs being different lengths on every other figure, feet have huge issues, can't get them to line up (usually one is pointed and can't be moved).

I love the sculpts and the fact that they do figures HT doesn't but I have never had QC issues as bad with Hot Toys.

One other thing I noticed when trying to put the accessories and box up is that the accessory tray (which feels really cheap and flimsy itself--like Dollar Store quality plastic) is tough to get back into the styrofoam box. And if you remove the sticky film used to keep the accessories in place, the pieces don't stay in their spots very well when you move the box around. I put all the pieces in little zip-loc bags and stuck them in the spot where the cape is initially stored so that they wouldn't be scattered all around the tray when moving it.

Also, at least one of the hands won't fit on the wrist peg.

Figure has a real presence to it, though. Now that the glue on the cape clip set and I attached the cape, I'm really digging the way this figure looks.

Greetings from Germany

The eyes are more green than blue I would say. I tried messing with the belt, and that's when I noticed the glue coming undone, and I didn't feel like dealing with a broken belt alongside the other issues this figure has had so far. I'll probably go back at some of the other posts here re: futzing later.

I think he does look "puffier" with the angry mouth.

So, I've been posing him in a bit extreme pose and the suit holds very well.
I remember say to not bend the knees to much, but I assume it's safe to bend his arms. no more relaxed pose for me:yess:

You know, I tried to fix the clips and ya, one of them was glued on so well I put a hole in the suit trying to take it off.
I think it would be wiser for me to just leave them.

It's just a sideshow base.
