Try to compare a real pic with what you'll get in hands. You'll proly be disapointed unfortunately ....

It seems to be lot of differences between the proto and the final figure.

It looks the same to me and that is a figure that never looked good to begin with. Nevertheless, for their first go it is a good job, better than all of Yulli's past ones IMO.

Some things to point out here.

- The expression on the sculpt is NOT the same as the pic.
- The sculpt has squinted eyes and a frown going on, as well as a smirk.
- The reference pic has Joker with a slack jaw (i.e teeth are far apart), so while the jawline of the sculpt and the ref pic match up, in a mouth closed position (which the sculpt appears to be going for), the jaw is totally off and way too long.


However, if I assume that the sculpt is indeed going for a slack jawed expression (while I don't agree that it is) - then the jaw does indeed match up. But the head is STILL TOO NARROW. Also, the eyes should then be open and brow shouldn't be frowning. The expression they have on this sculpt doesn't match up to anything i've come across.

Anyway, carry on

It's not just the head is too long etc the face looks like it is stretched, it looks out of proportion. The inner face is very long, not just the head. I really can not understand how people are amazed over this sculpt, as those comparison pictures look like two different people, despite the correct shape of jaw on this figure.

I'm going to killed for saying this, but I just saw this pic and I think 1/4 scale is too big. Kinda freakish looking. I'm glad I don't have an interest.

Yes I am also glad I do not have the interest as I would be pretty pissed off if I was looking forward to this.

It's not the lighting, it is the angles that makes it look ok sometime.

or these...Mask doesn't look the BEST on him, but it's still a nice extra, even if only to hold. You can't assume it's gonna look perfect with that hair anyway since it's too bulky (which is why HT gave us the 2nd head with the BRJ)

meh, no worries. i don't let anybody's opinions stop me from buying something I like as you mentioned. It's all about what your tastes are ya know? Some people love the HT 1/4 Bruce sculpt, I think it looks too old. Some people see a ton of heath in this figure, others don't see it at all. What can ya do?

Now when people go in threads just to be mean and bash, then yeah thats annoying and not really needed (I'm not saying you are Dark, or anybody specifically for that matter) Case in point, I could care less about the Reeve superman but i know that was popular with a lot of people. And ya know what? I stayed out of the thread. I didn't go in and bash it, or call it boring or a waste of a spot, etc. There's no point, it's for lack of a better word, borderline mean I guess? Idk I just like to be civil on these boards and have fun. I like coming on here and looking at pics and chatting with fellow collectors. If I wanted to be mean or get picked on I'd go back to middle school

Yeah I like this one a lot too. Kinda reminds me of when he's waiting for one of the boats to blow up, though I know it's not based off that scene
