Still can't pull the trigger on this guy. For every good review there are 10 bad. The only way is if I could inspect first hand before buying. No way am I gonna blow that amount of money on a lucky dip to get a decent figure.

I'd expect these sort of issues from hasbro, not a high end collectable company.

Its more near his crotch that needs to be pushed back in. I can't do photoshop so I can't upload a how to on it.

Anyway, thank you very much for the info. :hi5:

I tried to push the joint/upper leg back into the right position and I even used a blow dryer to heat up the plastic a bit.

It didn't work for my first Joker...
I didn't intend to use strong force because I was very afraid to break off the leg.

I've seen people say it's terrible and that the paint comes off easily and the figure, as a whole, is a piece of crap. They clearly own it because they've taken pics of it and said how bad it is.

Then I see people come in praising it, saying it's one of the greatest figures they own and easily better than the Enterbay Batman. Even the best representation of the Joker, hands down? They clearly own it because they've posted pics as well.

One of these has got to be a hyperbole. I've never seen such a complete divide with what's "good" or "bad" before in a collectible.

I have seem this figure in hand and I tell you, you are right on both accounts and that is both sides are hyperboles. Now this might seem like a paradox, but let me explain.

The figure is very realistic in fact when I saw it in hand it looks like a real person wearing make up. As for the Ledger likeness it does look like Ledger and it doesn't. It all depends on the angles, if you have the head facing straight or slightly looking up it nearly screams Ledger, this accounts for why people think it is the best thing ever!

However, if you have the head tilted down it can make a tremendous difference to the likeness of Ledger. That is because the eyes are really deep set like a caveman and the brow bone covers them when the head is tilted down. Also the long nose and long chin look more noticeable. This is the reason why the likeness looks so poor sometimes, and hence why people think it looks deformed.

I do not own this figure and can not show any pictures for why it looks so different. This is what I have noticed when I saw it in hand at my LCS.

You are right you have to see it in hand to make a decision, I didn't buy it because on some angles it looked amazing and on some angles it looked bad. It is not a figure with consistently, it is like a chameleon.

Will your LCS be getting any in so you can see what it looks like in hand?

That being said I do not think it is a bad figure, and may one day still buy it if the Joker 2.0 turns out to be bad. I am not trying to tell anyone what they should and should not buy, I am just saying this is a figure you have to see in hand to make a choice IMO.

u have been banned before for trolling this thread until the end and here is you at it again,...wow,...some folks will never learn,...:monkey1

If you want a collectible to represent TDK I highly recommend getting your fav either joker or batman. And if you can pick up both if you haven't yet,IMO and probably most collectors who own these eb 1/4 Collectibles didn't have to go to their local comic book store to make a decision to buy, no collectible is perfect but these two are great. And will leave you and onlookers in awe of how realistic they look. It is only on collecting forums that we dissect every cm of a collectible but a guest seeing these two will be amazed.

I just got this guy and he is amazing. I'm going to get Bats too but probably not until next month or around my birthday in February. These 1/4 scales are amazing. I have the t800 and plan on getting the new BD one too. I'm a huge Joker fan of course so DX11 is a must too. If you have doubts than dont because this guy is awesome. I got him for $370 too which helps.

It doesn't sound like he's trolling. It sounds like a legitimate assessment of the figure :dunno

In fact, although I don't own the figure, I agree with him.
It's what I noticed also based on the pics I've seen.
It always seem like the depending on the angle, the sculpt can look amazing, and in some, way off and the chin looks long and reminds me more of Brandon lee as the crow than the joker.

You may think that he is trolling with his opinion, but you're trolling us with your atrocious spelling and grammar. :slap

First of all, I requested to be banned because people like you insulted me and I did not want the board to have to deal with arguments so I asked if they could get rid of me to prevent me from posting, because obviously I must say the wrong things to upset people.

I have seen this thread for a while now and I was not sure whether or not to voice my opinion because I knew you would come out of your mother's closet (pun intended ) so you could abuse me.

However, everyday I kept reading the thread there were people really on the fence about this so I thought I could help them by telling them not to make a decision until you see it in hand.

Thank you, all I am saying is, to just see this in hand first before you make a decision, as some people will love this and some people won't.

Find me the post where I said the same stuff, when I posted my opinions months ago it was before I saw the figure in hand. So I really could not make an accurate judgement then.

I had my Joker HS repainted after the paint got rubbed off.
I found a painter here in Amsterdam who did it for $55

What are the dimensions of that clear box batman is stood on? Cos atm i have 1 1/4 figure taking up 2 shelves in my detolfs. Being able to get 2 in would save a lot of space...especially with BD T800 looming.
