Enterbay - 1/4 scale RoboCop 3

Who gives a **** if he uses the word gay? Don't fuel the fire man, let's just talk about Robo. I think this looks great, but I understand why most are disappointed as we were led to believe this was from the original Robocop. Tons of bad *** accessories and features, so hopefully there's no major qc issues with this one.

His whole post is pretty extreme for a toy board wouldn't you say?! But yes, I get what you are saying about fueling the fire.

I have my fingers crossed about the QC on this one. So far I have dodged that bullet with my Enterbays.

So Enterbay pretty much got everyone's hopes up by pretending that this was an all in one Robocop figure when it was a Robocop 3 figure all along. Pretty lame of them. They should've made it clear what it was from the very beginning. I'll stick to HT's 1/6th.

I don't think this figure is a fail at all. I was never going to display the face sculpt. If you were, then I can see you're disappointment. It looks like a Robocop 1 figure to me with part 3 accessories and Burke face sculpt. I wish it was cheaper, sure! Still happy with the end result and can't wait to receive it. Peter Weller has been known not to o.k his likeness and I can bet Enterbay tried, why wouldn't they?

You nailed it bro. I hate R3 with all my heart, but this is one hell of a robocop figure I won't miss.
I feel like EB gave as much option as possible to fans, covering almost all variations.
And I know there are some R3 fans out there.
I will sell this Burke face sculpt for a dollar on ebay lol

The head to toe paint scheme and all accessories are based on RoboCop 3. If a couple mouth plates that "kind of" look a bit like Weller's mouth suddenly make you think it isn't from the awful third movie then more power to you.

It looks pretty damn good to me, The resemblance is definitely there, a lot better than "kind of."

Maybe they can make a 1/4 "Batman & Robin" batsuit but with a couple of Keaton mouthpieces to go with it. As long as the mouth looks good that's all that matters right?

Maybe you should read this topic carefully, enterbay confirmed the weller mouth on facebook, it's not a "look a bit like". Also the armour color is the same as robocop 1, grey with blue /purple fringe

Agreed, the paint app is closer to R1, than 2 or 3.
EB did confirm that the first and second mouths are weller so yeah we do have a robocop 1 figure.
The batman référence is completely off since the suits are completely different between the movies.
Remove the all the robocop 3 gear and you have a peter weller robocop no problem.
And this in not wish full thinking, just facts.

1.) well first off, it makes more sense now why we were getting the jet pack and gun attachment, seeing as its solely based off robo3.
2.) it's a huge shame that they couldn't get weller's head sculpt!
3.) but in the end, this figure looks absolutely gorgeous! clearly they spent alot of time and effort and it shows! it really is a beautiful piece of art. i absolutely will be purchasing this the first day its open to preorder. this figure will have a wonderful presence in your collection! its just so boss! i can not wait!

Nope. The Enterbay suit has none of the purple highlights. Those circles on his shoulders should be filled with a purplish hue, but they're not, just plain silver as he appeared in RoboCop 3.

Guys, calm down. Sure we're not getting a full on Weller HS, but at least we're getting two face plates that is dead on Weller.

If you wanna be pissed off at someone, be pissed off at Howard chan, because I'm effin confident he snatched up the rights to produce everything under the sun (and not make them at the same time). EB probably had no choice but to make SOMETHING out of this franchise but could only secure the rights to robocop 3.

Additionally, I wouldn't be surprised if bill had to jump through a lot of hoops and painstakingly find some sort of loophole to provide at least wellers likeness under the helmet.

Damn guys, chill the eff out. Instead of ripping them a new one because they missed out on ONE likeness out of a pretty damned impressive package, lets think about the other 1/4 figures EB/bill have actually produced for you so called fans...TDK, Rambo, terminator 2&BD...WTF have HTs done on this scale other than "securing" rights to??

It's a shame it's RoboCop 3 but still looks impressive.
