I thought Bruce did a lot if not all of the asian voice over for his characters. Just not the english dub. I could be wrong though.
I only found out this year (or last year) that he didn't do any dialogue voice overs (in any language) for his movies other than EtD. I think his battle cries are his own though, but I'm not sure.

I think it's on a BL documentary or something :dunno

Actually, I have something to do with WotD in my head, concerning voice overs, but I'm not sure what it is :lol

I might have to watch that part again to see how accurate my posts are :D

Edit: When I say 'his movies', I am only talking about Big Boss, Fist Of Fury, Way Of The Dragon, Game Of Death, & Enter The Dragon.

bruce actually did the dub for one of the thugs (the coloured guy i think) i hope thats not too UN-PC:dunno.and a couple of others i belive
he also split (ANDERS NELSON's lip..one of the guys he hit with the nunchuks

I don't think Bruce does his own voice in the dubbed version of FOF that I've got. Sounded like a cross between Bogie and John Wayne! The fact that it was slightly out of synch cracked me up and made me think of that guy from Police Academy!

CHEERS!

While googling about this topic I found out a few things I didn't already know. Perhaps I only read it & did not watch it on a documentary like I previously stated :dunno :lol Anyway here is something I found at www.kungfucinema.com

A lot of people ask where they can get Bruce Lee films with his original voice. The short answer is that out of the four major movies he completed (He died during production of "Game Of Death"), the only one that featured his voice was ENTER THE DRAGON (USA version only), where he did a few bits of English dialog. He also did Bob Baker's voice in "Fist Of Fury" (on some dubbed versions). Bruce also did the war cries (screams) on most Mandarin dubs of "Fist Of Fury" and "Way Of The Dragon".
Why wasn't Bruce's voice on his movies with the few exceptions above? Like practically all Chinese movies during this time, actor's voice was not recorded during filming. This was done for several reasons:
1. Cost. It is much cheaper to film action with out sound, then to go back and fill in the dialogue later. Chinese films during this time were all done on a miniscule budget.
2. Most actors in Hong Kong, including Bruce, did not speak Mandarin. The primary market for these films was the Mandarin language market.
3. Creating a dub is an art much like acting is an art. Bruce, like most other actors didn't have any experience sitting down in a sound studio and making a dub. That's why he didn't do his own dubs.

Might be interesting to some. It was for me :D

Interesting, and unsurprising.

CHEERS!

Bruce objected against the cartoony thug falling-thru-wall scene but Lo Wei insisted on it........I believe Jackie did that stunt ?

Yuen Wah doubled for Bruce I think (he was Tiger in Police Story III and the rude Japanese at the FoF park)
