No....

Have you Rob ? (joking...)

There is no official release of the serious face without the blood spot and bruises, but I know of at least one on this forum - Ahgnus - who has been working on a few heads that might re-make at least one head sculpt without the bruises. Keep visiting this tread and you will find out what he and other collectors are up to with this particular figure release.

i wouldnt mind one (if the price was right:rotfl )actually wouldnt mind one with a WOTD hairpiece..so if your reading Ahgnus:wink1:

The split ring idea went a bit south, even the ones I had were too thick. (If only we knew EB's source!)

Never mind, I made a spare bracelet out of a 1/6 shoelace like I did my original. I only lost 56p on the deal (8 split rings) so it's no biggie.

Owning both and IMO, I like the packaging and presentation of the HT DX, but its likeness isnt to my liking. The EB is great too, but as good as the body looks the constant thought that putting it in dynamic poses will decrease the figure's longevity was unsettling too. Likeness wise and all the EB is better. More value for money is the HT DX...

I think the HT DX will hold up longer than the EB GOD. As the body feels like its more durable and doesnt stain at all.

Plus, the normal sculpt PERS is one of Yulli's finest IMO.

Longevity wise surely itll hold up... staining is an EB signature, not two ways about it. The normal PERS sculpt is definately good, but I think Ive been spoiled by seeing too many Arnie sculpts and work in progress sculpts on his facebook albums :lol

If Arnie didnt continue to tweak his sculpts ALL THE TIME, this Yulli sculpt would probably rate higher in my head... Hoping the new HT EtD comes soon... aargh! I was this close to getting the EB EtD verB... now AGAIN im vacillating :slap

EDIT: I forgot to mention the WORST PART of the HT DX04... the clothing. Actually not the clothing but the @#^%!* plastic press buttons! HT shouldnt have cheapened out. They should have made it of metal... fastening/unfastening the belt was a nightmare, imagine the shirt...

For aesthetics the RM-X takes it, but, I like the articulation of the DX which was why I decided to get a couple. I think the HT DX sculpt is nicer than the BD GOD sculpt so I'm turning a DX into it.

Initially the DX didn't scream Bruce to me, but, it has grown on me.

CHEERS!

Both sets have their positives and negatives, though overall I'd say the EB set has more negatives due to QC problems that many collector's have experienced. The fact that the EB set costs much more makes the QC issue much more scrutinized, and deservedly so. Nobody wants to pay $325+ to get a damaged figure, but at the same time I don't want to pay $225+ to get one either.

Oddly enough I lucked out and got 2 mint EB sets, whereas 1 of my DX sets had QC issues. :dunno

Both sets did a great job nailing the sculpts, I think someone would be happy with either set in that regard. It's a matter of personal preference.

The EB muscle body looks incredible, yet lacks in articulation and the DX body looks very good and offers much better articulation. Again, personal preference.

Accessories-wise the EB set is hands down the better of the 2 imo with the wooden pagoda, wood chair, studio lamp that lights up via USB, director's camera, clapper board, loud speaker, 2 GOD suits, bamboo etc.

Which is best? Who cares? It's in the eye of the beholder.

EB have always been renowned for the dioramas. HT's seem quite cheap looking by comparison, they could have found a better material for the mirrored one, I'm sure there's some self adhesive foil that is properly mirrored.

Hope you know this guy well enough to trade. Someone got scammed today :monkey1

Yeah saw that the scammer was some 'museumsomethingcrap' but no, the trader is a well known fella, you know, him, I know him etc etc used to be regular on this thread before he got the figure :wink1:
