Btw, it looks like your customers of this wonderful set are getting allot of nice extra goodies for those who has waited. Maybe we could call it "The Exclusive Wai Edition" - which will be the forth version of this set- with the smiling head's eyes pointing the other way, silver nunchaku and Kung Fu Monthly added in the set ?

So I haven't been keeping track at all, but since my local shop got them in stock (still waiting shipping) I've been checking and see there's different versions of this? What are the different versions/editions and what are the differences between them? Thanks in advance!

So far there has officially been released three different versions - four actually when I think about it:

* The "regular" Hong Kong first release version which has the original DB (bruised) head with the original EVision head which was taken back due to problems with the crossed eyes that some of these head had as a defect, and gotten the recent eye system re-installed. The content of this set you will find in the official specifications of this release. Some got an additional Enterbay Game of Death paper bags (two different versions) and a 1/6 black nunchacku with yellow stripes during pre-orders.

* The Exclusive Beijing Exhibition version which has an additional 1/6 jeans and black t-shirt for the figure, plus a camera holder. There will also be an additional 3rd. head sent separately (when it is finished) free of charge by registered air mail. This version is so far only available from Enterbay's official Beijing dealer who has made this set especially for those who where at the Beijing Expo - though it is possible to still get from him if you are interested (pm me and I will put you in touch with him directly). This release was released around the same time as the regular Hong Kong first release and has had the original DB (bruised) head with the original Evision eye system, which some have gotten defects on, but some has also gotten the head with the eyes looking perfectly. There is also an extra separate gift for those who order this version: An Enterbay photo album book with pictures and information about recent releases, plus one of two Game of Death paper bags.

* The Ani-Com Hong Kong Expo version - same as the regular Hong Kong release, but with the DB bruised head fixed with the recent eye system. What is unique in this release is that the eye direction of the smiling face head sculpt has been changed to the opposite direction.The chair in the Ani-Com Expo edition has "Director" instead of "Bruce Lee" (which I seem to remember might be on the back), the figure stand has printing on it - saying Bruce Lee in Chinese and Bruce's signature printed on it. Those who bought this set also got a yellow "Enterbay" rubber hand band. I have forgotten if there is anything else special about this - as my head is elsewhere today - so help me out those who got this (I know at least two on this forum got this version).

* The "regular" Hong Kong second release - which has not yet been released, or sent out yet as far as I know, but this seems to be the same as the first release, but with the EVision eye system taken out and replaced with the recent eye system. if there will be any additional items in this 2nd. release is to been seen...

For those of us who has ordered more than one set and separate heads (both smiling and the DB bruised heads) have notice that there can be difference in hand paintings. Some have more clearer bruises, some have lighter bruises. The eyes of the bruised heads have eyes with red veins, and some have non.- there is also a difference in size of the iris (and pupil) of the eyes. There is also some difference between the foot printed, dirty Game of Death suit - some have a more clearly dirt and footprint, in others you can almost not see the dirt and footprint.

I think I have covered most - but I am sure that the others here will fill you in on other differences as I might have gotten something wrong or forgotten something. As mentioned my head is not working properly today as I have a headache, which I usually do not have...

By the way, here is a comparison of the difference in heads:

Here are some BD head sculpt comparison shots between Beijing and HK versions. As discussed here before, paint app on HK version is richer. Bruise over right cheek and 5 o'clock shadow are darker. The difference is more glaring with naked eyes than in pictures. And irises on HK version are smaller, and HK eyes have redness details. But I can't generalize this for all Beijing and HK set tho. HK BD sculpt replacement EB sent me has richer paint app just like Ebay HK BD head, but still has same size irises as Beijing set. And only one eye has redness detail. Smiley faces seem identical except HK eyes have lighter irises than Bejing set which makes pupils more pronounced.

...of course we now have the "New Improved OneSixthBruce.co.uk/Wai Man" Exclusive Edition which is the same as the regular Hong Kong first release version - but has the Smiling face with the eyes in the other direction (same as the Ani-Com HK Expo version), fixed DB (bruised) head with replaced recent eye system - and an additional silver nunchaku with yellow stripes (plus some old British Kung Fu Monthly magazines - provided seperatly by OneSixthBruce.co.uk). !

...AND in addition, some of us who have gotten this set (Beijing, HK relguar/expo, etc.) plus those that has built up their own figure from scrach and parts sold seperately (Rogerbee and MrChris) - you have many different improvements and customs work put into the figure's head, suit, etc. I have added the HT "In Suit"/"Casual" Bruce Lee sunglasses and belt on mine with the Beijing jeans - and they both fit well and looks pretty cool

I think that the Ani-Com version was only available to those who visited the Ani-Com exhibition, but you might be able to get it directly from Enterbay in Hong Kong if you e-mail them and ask. I only know that the Beijing Exhibition edition is only available directly from Guo Bei (Enterbay's official supplyer in Beijing).

From what I remember the shipping of the "2nd. regular Hong Kong" edition will be this month (September) if I am not mistaken, though I am not sure if it has been delayed - you have to e-mail Enterbay directly about that. Not so sure what you mean by "EB bill on order" though....
