got my doll rambo :yess:
looks fine. the gap is there, but the cut on right shoulder is perfect. If I pull the arm closer to the body, the "skeleton" will shows though. I don;t know if this normal or not.
I tried to futz the arm so the gap can be closed but no luck so far. anyone can give me an advice again?:lol

@nightsurf: See my response to Stanlore below.

@Stanlore: Your gaps look pretty normal as-is. If the inner hard plastic pieces are jointed tight, you can push them up (which closes the gap because it moves the arm up against the skin). After that, only move the shoulder from its actual hinge.
nightsurf, if that hard platic skeleton keeps wanting to pop out due to looseness, then there's a problem.

I'll contact EB customer service tomorrow and attach a picture with a description to show EB what I mean. Fingers crossed this works out. So wait, I just send the decapited body in its box to EB? Being an international customer, my process may be different. I think they'll let me know what to do.

Looking at that photo makes me want a 1/4-scale T2 T800 as well. Oh, brother, this hobby! :slap

The awesome pictures make me wanna pick one up but it's not within my budget at the moment.

@Blade: fortunately, I'm a bit experimental with my figures. so I tried playing and futzing his arm with quite a brute force. then when I put the arm down, I noticed that the skeleton on the right popped out just like yours :slap
I futzed again with pushing the arm back into the socket and wiggling like crazy. that's it. even better than when it first arrived. no more skeleton for me:yess:
maybe you should try that too if you really should send rambo back to EB.
as for the gap, as far as I can tell, it's almost impossible to close the gap on right shoulder.
still don't have many time for experimenting, but maybe this info can help fellow rambo fans :wave

But was the skeleton loose on yours? Like did it keep falling back down/out? The hinge that's actually attached to the shoulder is perfectly tight on mine, but the joint that makes the skeleton move seems loose.

Yeah, its better to confirm from them. What i meant was instead of sending that huge HD box back to them, just send the body for replacement, like put him in a shoe box and put some of that foam covering to protect it so you can save on shipping. The dimensions for the HD box are huge so shipiping wont be cheap. Just save where you can, but your right, official instructions from EB are better. Thanks for the advice.

I agree with the suggestions.

Normally, if I experience trouble from a product (even non-toys) and the seller is a couple of oceans away, I take close-up photos and/or videos, attach them to my initial email, so that there are no excuses to help me later on.

You also have the option of befriending Enterbay Bill on Facebook (he accepts Facebook friend invites), and message him there, or message on his Wall if possible, so that the whole 1/6 community sees that there's a problem and will see how Enterbay will respond. :)

I don't quite understand what you mean blade, but it stays in place, until you play around with his shoulder, the skeleton can show itself again. but no prob for me, since I can just push it until it dissapears.
the biggest problem now is the shoulder gap. I notice maulfan suffered from it too from his money shot pic.
but from other pics, his rambo looks fantastic. I couldn't close my shoulder gap like him.

When you say "play around", do you mean you have to pose it to make the skeleton come out? Or does it come out loosely with light pressure? If I lightly press the arm down, the skeleton tilts downward on mine. I can push it back up/in and it will hold most of the time, but if I mess with it again, it just comes out again as if it wasn't secured tightly.

I mean when I posed his arm upside, its fine. but when pushed his arm back down, the skeleton shows again. maybe it's a slight defect like we all already knew :slap
but, after that, I just wiggling it about 1-2 second, and the skeleton already gone, so I'm happy with this.
I looked into chung79 pics and noticed there'r almost no shoulder gap in his picture. maybe, just maybe, because of the shoulder hole is a little too big, the skeleton will not stay in its place.
so the problem is more from the gap, not the skeleton, I think :dunno

we need maulfan to give his oppinion:gah::lecture

Sorry to see that guys. I asked Blade a few pages back about it, but he said it didn't bother him. I never thought this was normal either.

Mine is on the customs, but seeing all this gap things is making me really disappointed with this figure and I had such an awesome impression of it at first. :(

If I wasn't a member this forum, I won't complain about the gap at all :lol
now I regret It because I saw a member here (Maulfan) got the better version of this Rambo in this thread :lol

but cap, fear not, after you posed it, the gap actually not that big and for me, it doesn't bother me.
overall, I'm happy, my advice is please pay attention to his right side seam line below the armpit. I fear that a little too much pressure can tear it.
just checked yours and maybe you'll get what I mean.
I'll try to post some pics when I can

The visible skeleton didn't bother me at the time because it didn't seem to be the result of a defect. After examining my figure and learning that at least one other person has the same problem, it's become clear that the skeleton keeps showing itself because of a loose joint on the other end -- inside the torso. If that joint was tight (and it is on the other shoulder's skeleton) and I could still see the hard plastic, I'd be fine with it. That isn't the case and the left shoulder looks considerably better. And it's tight as hell, too.

Gaps and joints come with the territory, so if it's supposed to look like a toy by nature, there's nothing wrong in my book. However, a defect is a defect. Seems like I've got one. It really is a gorgeous figure otherwise.

And MaulFan, those pictures are absolutely incredible! I don't know how you do it (could be the superior lighting), but the likeness stays intact from almost every angle! Amazing work.

The first time I saw yours I KNEW something was not normal, just by the way the "skeleton" was showing. I didn't see that in any of the pictures posted, that's why I asked.

Good that you don't care about the "skeleton" showing, I do and a LOT.
One thing are gaps, joints, things we can EXPECT from a figure...other thing it's an ugly piece of shiny plastic appearing in these joints bellow the "skin"...distracting a lot from the figure. I don't like it at all.

Mine should be here so I will be able to better "understand" the "mechanism" applied in the figure....hopefully it won't have the same problem yours did.

Maybe that's fixable? I don't have the figure in hands but curious if there could be a way to fix it...

Thanks bud, I can't wait to receive it. I was one of the most excited to get this piece in this whole thread so I really hope I'm not disappointed by it.
